 What is the file size is this and how do I change it?


The dimensions are fine, but the file size is 54.87 KB. You might try saving it as a .jpg file for a quick and easy reduction. Repost when you're done and we'll check it again. ~CC~

Figured this is much larger than the allowed siggy size of 500x100 pixels, but do u have any hints on how i could make this a siggy? or if not, could i use this as a custom avatar picture for my forum account? (please if yes direct me somewhere that tells me how to apply it as well please)

That avatar is 20.6K (the filesize limit is 10k) and 106x99 pixels (the size limit is 95x95), so it's too big. Also it's a PNG file, which is a bad format for avatars Trimming the dimensions down and converting it to a .gif or .jpg file would likely fix all of those issues; you can do that in the image editor of your choice. - SH

also one more comment: is there any way i can make the avatar img bigger as to see the picture clearer without going over the size limit (500x100 and 50kb)

It seems kinda big, but the Photo Gallery says it 500x100 and 11.4 Kb. Is it good?

I'm seeing an image loading error, but it works when I load the image URL. My browser stats are telling me it's 3.83 KB, but that's good either way. ~TF

Both are 500x100 pixels, so your dimensions are good. the top shows as 36K, the bottom as 34K, so you're good there as well. -- SH

Is it ok?

The filesize (17.17K) is fine. The width (354 pixels) is fine. The height is 140 pixels though, which is 40 pixels too tall to use as a sig... you need to trim it to 100 pixels. -- SH

This banner okay? I made it a year ago, and I don't know if the rules have changed, so I might as well test it to see what you guys say.

At 600 pixels wide (maximum 500 pixels) and 200 pixels tall (maximum 100 pixels), it is too large. If you would like to use it as a signature, it will have to be resized. The file size is good at 25 kb, since the max is 50 kb. ~Bassetbookworm

Adding to what Basset said... if you were talking about using this as the initial banner image for a guild or clan post, it is still too wide at 600 pixels... a clan's banner image needs to be 500x500 and 75kb max, which means you're OK on height and filesize, but 100 pixels too wide. - SH

This is the very first time I've ever decided to change my avatar.

Just wanted to make sure it's 100% okay in accordance to all forum policy.
