Avanë. This word translates into English as 'Gods'. This is just a brief teaser that is way ahead of its time. It reveals a little about what is to come once I finish writing about Varen, my DF character. I hope you enjoy it.

Each day I wake and I look out,
Far over the distant shores.
My war has left the world unbound,
I have left it to destructive claws.
I, Avan Fïen must go,
To leave the loving world behind.
All is fair in love and war,
Now I must leave you in this earth of yours.
Avanfëarn now lies in waste,
Dark evil rules across the land.
The war was death and loss and pain,
I am lost and can’t return again.
I gaze back on the silver shores,
To see the loving world I left.
And watch and learn what I did wrong,
In hope that I’ll return again.
