Actually ooblagis I noticed you said that earlier and I was checking that out as you posted that, the pixellation is all standard RGB with just combinations thereof, and on the smaller one that looks a lot like a 'start' button, there's actually lavender in it in varying degrees all the way up to purple almost. I'm not too familiar with older versions of Windows (been mainly a Mac user all my life up until recently), so has there been a 'start' button in earlier versions that had that shade in it? If so, then you might have something with that theory there.

I doubt it. I mean, Lies post says "contact us for more information". He is referring to him and Truth. They are most likely just makeshift "informants" made by AE to make this more fun. And it works, too.

I'm fairly certain that all the way up to XP it has been grey by default, but that isn't to say that there hasn't been the option to change it to such a couler.
