Pretty realistic. I'll try to dld gimp for mac to try all these GIMP tuts lol.

Nice fartix. Best fire one ive seen so far. alot less complicated than ones I've seen

yeah i used and it looked pretty cool do youcare if i use this in some sigs i mean the technique not the actual pic or whatever

Comrad - The only thing that would need to be changed would be the colour balances i'd guess

I found another way to Change the colours!! Instead of doing the colour balance Try Adding a new layer and Filling it with The colours you want to Make the fire then Set that layer to Overlay!

Nice job, dxb105... that's a good use of my tut.

@Rambo55: That method also works too, but then you would need to merge the layers and set it to screen if you wanted to use it anywhere else.

Ooh, nice. All the tutorials for fire I've seen in the past were uber complicated, and now I don't have to look for a brush set with fire effects now. +537 internets.
