Tutorial Link// Tutorial Part Two// Stock Link// XCF File// PSD File// Black and White (B/W) version// Apophysis Link// Pentool tut//

Well, a lot of people are saying it's my best tag yet, so I decided to make a tut on it. It got me a rating of Mod, so I'm including the original stock, XCF, PSD, etc. The great thing about this is that it isn't really all that complicated xP. In other words, I have too much time on my hands.

I never thought it would be that simple.

I say the Greyscale version looks better, as the colors match more (obviously).

The Apophysis is JPEG D:

Doesn't matter. Paste into a new layer, and choose the settings: Overlay, Screen, Multiply, or lower the opacity. Then erase/smudge, it really doesn't make much of a difference.

Grayscale? Do you mean Desaturated?

Yeah, I Greyscale is (kinda) the same as desaturated, I think.

Ok then, I think the desaturated version is better.

Nice tag and tutorial, CO ^_^

FAQ'd, seeing as it's a tutorial (and resources). Good job with it :)

Blarg, the blue lines and yellow and green text doesn't fit. :/ Good job on the rest though.

I would either not use the Blue bit or Gradient it all over. as the blue sticks out, I know his isn't a gallereh' and I don't even have gimp but i'm bored:-0

Umm, excuse me? I agree with the first part, but the second made absolutely no sense.

I think he meant the greyscale version.

Like a Black to White Gradient map.

But that's probably not what he meant, so I shouldn't be saying anything.

Well, looks good, but it could be better. Try going back and create a duplicate of that blue path layer, gassgian blur it by like 5 px and set the layer to dodge. It makes the path more lighted and not just like some random vector. Also, work on the text. There are always better alternatives then a bright contrasting color.
