everytime i do displace it doesnt use thwe sparks it just spazes >_>

I think he means that it doesn't displace the sparks layer. .Silver, did you use overlay for a mode in the layers selection?

you don't displace the sparks layer anyway. you make your background your focus then displace it. making sure next to the X&Y co-ordinates its the sparks layer.

Awww, man! I made this awesome picture using this tut, but when I saved it, It didn't show it in my pictures folder

open GIMP and go to open recent. If you saved if it recently it should be there
