anyone know how significantly luck affects mq
i know that aq it was always pretty secondary to stats like strength dexterity and intellect
wondering whether to train a blocking/defensive stat in these beginning stages of mq rather than luck

Good ARH build is to invest in perception, reflex, and accuracy. The reason is that RH is a tank mecha and perception/ reflex decreases the mana usage of the RH mana shield. Accuracy is there to make sure you hit on your attacks so the specials activate. My build right now is:
75 perception
50 reflex
25 accuracy
I always win on the K&S challenge 10.

How many effiency point do u need to have -2 ep usage? i have had about 40 and it was still only -1

@ above
Efficiency will decrease the amount of EP you use based upon the EP cost of the weapon you are using. If you are using a weapon with very low EP cost, even with high EP you might still only get -1 EP. And if you want to save a reasonable amount of EP by using efficiency, then I suggest you aim for 50-100 efficiency.

One modified Tank style build I've been using with the dinosaur mecha is 40% Efficiency, 40% Perception, and either 20% Reflex or Luck. This build allows a Tyranno or VelociMecha to have reduce EN usage while lasting even longer with both high defense and a chance to Dodge.

For me 50 Luck, 50 Perception, 44 Power. Nothing in other stats. It works pretty well, though I think a little more in luck would be nice.

@Chicken:I advise you not to have any in perception, as after putting 1 stat point in its not really worth it.

Well, I use the April Fool's Mech. I put all my stat points on luck, since all most of his weapons have 50% bonus damage. It really really helps hitting like 60's more than half the time.

Right now I am using my version of a Tank/Chance build 50 Perception 50 Accuracy 50 Luck. I Crit a good amount, Dodge now and again, hit nearly ALL the time and take low damage. Seems to work nicely for other Mecha's beyond the ARH as a bonus. For the ARH it makes you dangerous even against a AMR. Anything below the level 25 enemies in the mines tend to never get me below 200 HP and the mines aren't any trouble either, beyond getting me in the 100's in HP (I am really hoping for "trinkets" because the ARH's big worry is EP usage because of the Mana Shield). With a decent amount of points via "trickets" in Power/Efficiency (say 50 in each) this build would be insane.

Drakel Win Armor build

Power 70
Luck 30
Accuracy 30
Percepetion/ reflex : 20

The P/R swithc depends on if wether you use the head 24/7. You'll need the reflex to add on to your defense or perception for those times you have the head off,

Hello everyone, I've just returned from a vacation that has lasted about 5 days. Please give me some time to check up on everything and come back to normal and start back up on this guide. Thank you for all the advice and submissions. But once again, read the rules before posting.

Treadlight, be sure to ignore my post with the "Basic Offensive/Defensive" builds. They are out-dated, after the Stat change XD

Here are mine.

Perception 1
Efficiency 1
Power 51
Luck 67

Though I plan to take out the 1 point in PER and EFF and just dump it all into Luck... read somewhere it doesn't matter anymore. Oh well...

I'm really sorry about the lack of updating lately, and it may seem like I am trying to hold the guiee back, but I'm trying to find as much time as I can to update all of my guides and indexes to help people out...

Expect a load of updates on the weekend(s), as I may have my computer back, I may be able to install Windows XP again, and I may be able to update all of my guides.

Consider this an update in itself fpr all of my guides and indexes.
