Hey everyone, I am terribly sorry for not getting the all the new Zargon weapons and mechs, DPA mechs/defaults, and Sepulchure defaults up, but when you are faced with almost 150 new entries in total (110+ just from Zargon), it doesn't exactly give the right kind of motivation to get them all in. This is why I am asking for anyone who would like to become an editor for the spreadsheet to please step up and help me out here. I know I got some PMs about wanting to help earlier but at the time the help wasn't needed, but due to extreme falling behind and a lot of inactivity from me and the rest of the current editors I definitely need some help.

If you would like to take an active role in helping get the spreadsheet back up to date and have PMed me (along with your email address so I can add you as an editor), I will respond with a PM describing which weapons in Zargon I'd like you to put in. I will be assigning them in batches of roughly 20, and here are the current batches available:

  • Zargon Weapons 13-33 - The Peanut Master
  • Zargon Weapons 34-64 - Watchman
  • Zargon Weapons 65-82 - Concreta
  • Zargon NG Weapons 1-23 (all) - Hauntar
  • Zargon Mechs 1-8 + Body Defaults, Zargon NG Mechs 1-2 + Body Defaults (20 entries total) - Hauntar

Those are all the Zargon entries that are missing. Some of the weapons have already been placed, so make sure to search for each new weapon before inputting it. In terms of actually doing the placement, Google Docs is pretty straightforward, and if you have any questions, make sure to look at the other entries for answers and if that doesn't solve it then either PM me or post here. Correct colors and the (D) are both very important when making entries. (If you have any weird ideas of trying to demolish the whole spreadsheet, I can easily revert to any earlier revision and find out who did it, so don't even try ).

I'll play it safe first and do Zargon Weapons 34-64 first, send me the list. If I have some time to spare I'll probably do the DPA/DWA parts.

This "list" you speak of is the exact list of weapons in the Zargon weapons shop (non-NG).

hey Peanut Master all i know is that you did a good job (so far do to the new weapons and Mechs that come out) and ive told a few ppl that i know who play MQ that we now got a SpreedSheet they can look at to find the good stuff. ive looked at it to find out the Rares and other stuff that i cant find on the Pedia (when i want to see it) but for the most part the SpreedSheet is great. keep up the good work

i added my part
going to work on the mechs now. hauntar already added them!

also for the weapons.. they have a special and a combo special. so this is what i added next to the normal special:

Combo Specials : see Quadtron and Biped encyclopedia entries

you ok with that? not sure if thats the best way to say that or if its correct english. (cause i wrote it like you would in dutch and then translated it) i also noticed that the lower lvl versions didn't mention anything about the combo specials so that should be fixed to..
some of the ency entries were a lil incomplete( wont mention any names *cough* bbalnut *cough*) so i had to test the specials myself.will pm hm with a good posting template all filled in =p

edit: just saw its quadruped and not quadtron so i eddited that already =p
i also noticed how easy it is to make a mistake when filling in those entries especially when you copy and paste it from a other weapon, and then make changes to it. when i was busy i noticed i made a few mistakes and eddited them all quickly.. they should be correct now though or atleast i hope so

In terms of using correct English and wording the specials correctly, after everything is put in and confirmed by all editors with jobs, I'm going to go through the entire spreadsheet and fix all typos/special errors/etc. to make sure it's still in tip-top shape. Right now we should just be worried about getting the entries in, so thank you Watchman, Hauntar, and Concreta for helping me out there big time!

I'm done with my workload, seeing that the Geekatron bodies are being done already too, I'll be searching for missing DPA versions and bodyparts.

Ultra Scanner Blade & Pulse attack is supposed to be 52-64 and not 55-61. Also those two element type is Explosive and not Laser. Also those two (again) cooldown is 5 and not 3. Ultra Rail Blaster FS & BS hits is 5 and not 2. Ultra Clusters FA & BA hits is 3 and not 4. (whew) Can you fix them all please?

@Watchman: None of the DPA mechs or defaults are in, so you can just work your way down the list.

^K, so far I already got every single DPA and DWA in, even the probably extinct non-powered V3 and V7. I'm not too optimistic with completing the defaults but I'll give it a shot.

Be thankful I'm a big DPA/DWA fan

Which shoulders are more important for your mech? Ultra Rail Blaster or Ultra Duel Strike? Why? Because Ultra Rail Blaster has extra hit while Ultra Duel Strike has a chance of boosted damage so what I'm really saying is, extra hit or boosted damage more important.

element, I think that question would be better suited in the Q&A Forum.

Anyways, I apologize to everyone for the extra confusion and messiness period the spreadsheet is going through, but that had to be expected when we had multiple editors going all at once (many of them new) and a lot of things got moved around and added. Over the next few days I'll make sure everything gets smoothed out to where it was before, and I'm also working on making the damage columns better organized and named (the FA section has my new "prototype" if you want to see where I'm getting at).

I do have a question for everyone: Regarding combos, which of these solutions do you think I should choose to go about implementing them:
1. Add encyclopedia links to all combo weapons to mech entries with combos listed.
2. Type "Combo" in Bonuses column.
3. Write out all combos with weapons they go with in "Bonuses" column.
4. Add whole new section devoted to all the combos in the game.
Right now I'm actually leaning towards #4 right now because I sense combos might be important enough in the future to warrant having its own column. What do you all think?

4 might work. While Zargon has been getting more attention, the Zeus Arms have built in combos as a single weapon.

That's probably what I'm going to end up doing next after all the new weapon placements are smoothed out.

The damage columns have received an entire makeover, with new names and different placements. For a complete description of the change, please check out the Introduction tab in the spreadsheet.

added all the average damges in the "average damage if special activates" column of body and front shoulder weapons
only didn't add those of the shadow e series bodies since they have 2 specials that do more damage.. so wasn't sure how you want that added.

and ofcourse fixed tons of errors >.> the funniest one had to be a NG Weapon that went non-sc to SC to NG again lol.
will add the back shoulder average damage if specials activate tomorrow.. unless some1 else does it before me

I would have to say that today the spreadsheet progressed the most in any 12-hour period. We got all 100+ Zargon entries done and smoothed out, as well as most of the DPA/DWA mechs and defaults (still cleaning out some loose ends there). I also re-adjusted the damage columns, and I think they are in as good a shape as ever. I'll be honest, I was really worried that I was falling too far behind with the placement of new equipment, but thanks to some really awesome contributors *cough* concrea, Watchman, hauntar *cough* it was all able to get done in only a few days. Thank you so much and long live the spreadsheet!

Started working on filling in the "Average Damage If Special Activates" collumn(at back arms) .. when i noticed that some House mech shoulders were missing >.> 23 shoulders were missing in front shoulder and back shoulders... whats even more messed up was that 7 of those shoulders were in back shoulder and not in front shoulder or vice versa.
anyway i added 16 of them. (actualy just 8 cause they were FS and BS)

after a while doing that i got so distracted that i added the mechronomicon 9 (FA) to the ency. instead of adding the shoulder lol.
just looked at the front/back arms.. and saw house default weapons were missing to *cries* will add them tomorrow or something.. will prob finish the "average damage if special activates" collum of back shoulders today

Here's an update to everyone on the progress of the spreadsheet: Everything related to the Sepulchure mechs, DPA/DWA mechs, and everything Zargon-related (besides the new level 28 stuff) is completely and utterly finalized. I have also completed transferred the DoT numbers to correctly match the new damage columns. I'm now focusing my attention on both the new Mogloween and Zargon equipment in addition to the new combo section, which will house all of the Zargon combos. The way I have it set up right now (with all Biped combos in) is Weapons > Mech > Combo.

While I have been able to find the effects themselves, I have not been able to find the lengths of the combos. If someone has a link to a thread where the lengths of the combos are listed or you can make a list yourself, I would appreciate it so much!
