See a guide that's in need of an update? Please let us know about it here, using the following format.
Update Request Form[b]Guide Name:[/b]
[b]Author:[/b]
[b]Link to the guide:[/b]
[b]Link to the author's profile:[/b]
[b]Last Updated:[/b]
A few things to keep in mind before you report a guide as being in need of update:
We don't expect people to update their guides the second a new release is out... give the author a reasonable amount of time before you report a guide as in need of an update.
Some guides, by their nature, may not need constant updates. Just because a guide hasn't been updated in 3 months doesn't necessarily mean it is out-of-date
Don't start writing a replacement guide just because you see one you feel is out-of-date. Report it here, and we will follow-up with the original author first
If you are interested in taking over a guide that is no longer being updated, please include that in your post. We will get back to you with permission if there is a need for a new author
From 02Jan10, after requesting an update/take over, the guide owner will be PMed by a MQ Guides Moderator or ArchKnight. If the author can't respond to the PM in one month, the permission to take over the guide will be granted to the one who requested it below. ~Dudu
