@OnuaNuva: Heh I know how that used to feel like. You need to get Ash up to a suitable level first. And get him a good Wind element Weapon. If you want to do it the easy way, farm for CCA in the Mill Quest. It will take a LOONG time though. If you want to do it my way, bring Twilly along as well and the best equipment (and Wind Weapon) with you. There's Talon Magic in Serenity's Inn which I used, but I don't recommend it. It's damage is random and got me into more trouble than it should've. I think you are a mage so this is how it goes down: Get Ash to do a normal attack. Get your character to *try* and put the Basilisk to sleep. If successful, do Attack with Ash and for your mage Power Up and Acid. When it has one turn left to sleep, get Ash to do the skill that nerfs their BtH (the first one on the left) and your character to do Blind. Same thing if the Sleep doesn't work. Now attack like crazy until the -95 BtH hits wears off (yes that's right, if it's successful, the monster basically can't attack. Well it can but only a 5% chance of doing it). Keep on doing it. There will be that turn wear the -95 BtH wears off. Just PRAY that it doesn't stun you. Same thing if the sleep doesn't work. Keep on doing that strategy until it's dead. Drink potions when ABSOLUTELY necessary. Some Basilisks can be snuck past. And when you do drink potions, open Inventory and click on the potion icon you need. DO NOT DO IT DURING BATTLE UNLESS NEEDED. NOTE: You will need lots of luck to pull this hard way off. I basically cheated death. It was the big boss Basilisk. I had 25 HP with Ash and my -95 BtH strategy wore off and the monster still had 100 HP. And it attacked, but NOT me. My Main Character. And then I won after I did my strategy again. @Cactus John: Bring Artix. I finished it in one go with him. Sasuke Uchiha has a good guide for AK if you need.
