This tutorial will teach you how to make signs like this: You will need pivot stick figure animator. You can download it here. First, search pedestrian crossing sign on google images. Get a good large image, like this: And edit the pedestrian out in an art program. Your image should look like this now: Save this file as a .jpg or .bmp file. Now, open pivot. Go to file > load background. Select your edited sign. You should now have a sign with a stick figure on it. Click on this stick figure and press the edit button. You will see your stick figure with a few buttons on a side bar. Clicking on a joint (red dot) selects the line it moves. The up and down buttons on the side bar change the thickness of a selected line. To make the stick figure look more like the one on street signs, thicken the legs, arms, and chest (upper arms about 3 thicker than lower arms, same with legs) and set the neck width to 0. Now click file > add to animation, and name your figure anything you want. Position it to the sign you want to have. Take a screen shot of this, and paste it back into your art program. Add the text you want (if any) and blur the edges of the stick figure a bit to make it look less pixely (optional, but improves the overall look). Save your sign, and you're done!
