Grenwog Festival '09!

Logging out of the game will cause the egg counter to drop to 0, and you will have to recollect all eggs in order to access the Egg Trade shop again.

Grenwog Festival!
The time has come for the yearly Grenwog Festival, when eggs are hidden throughout town. Collect as many as you can and trade them in for special things! If you save up over 20,000 eggs you can open a hidden shop!
  • Egg Hunt
  • Egg Trade!
  • Eat Some Eggs
  • Food Chain Quest
  • Egghead Quest
  • Back to town...

Artix: Spring is here! Time to find all the eggs we can before the nasty Grenwog finds them!
  • Okay!

Robina: This holiday just recently began. Not only does it celebrate the arrival of Spring, it has another purpose...
Robina: You see, last year many of the Werebunny eggs were stolen and-- gulp-- eaten by some strange creature with, well, an appetite for werebunny eggs.
Robina: Yes, that IS a strange appetite. I searched for that creature for months in the forests of Lore. All I found were clues... clues which led me to believe the creature is none other than--
Robina: --the fabled GRENWOG! This year, we need to collect all the eggs we can, AND try to stop the Grenwog from getting them! Good luck!
  • Right on!

Valencia: There's nothing I love more than an egg hunt! Well, maybe a treasure hunt. But since you can trade the eggs for items, that's fine with me!
Valencia: Say hi to my friendly pack-salamander Grumbugly if you get a chance!
Valencia: Oh, and before I forget-- There is a rumor going around that there is actually a NEW monster out there that is hunting the Grenwogs!! So be careful!
  • Okay!

«Clicking on Valencia's Grumbugly will cause the pack-salamander to bring in a health potion bag on it's back, where Guardians can refill their potions if they have less than 5 on hand.»

Twilly: Hiyas! Good luck looking for all those Werebunny eggs! I hope you find them soon!
Twilly: I can heal you up if you need it!
  • Heal
  • No thanks
Twilly: There you goes! All healed up. Bye!
  • Thanks!

    Eat Some Eggs
You consume 100 Eggs and heal 100 HP and 100 MP. Having less than 100 Eggs will cause you to eat them up without regaining any HP or MP.

    Back to Town...
Leaving the event map and returning back causes you to lose 5% of your total eggs on hand. The message "5% of your eggs have spoiled!" appears.
    Egg Hunt!

There are multiple scenarios you encounter while egg hunting.

    Scenario One (1/5 chance)

    Food Chain Quest!

Lady Tomo: «You», how nice of you to meet me. I was hoping you could help me figure something out...
«You»: Hi, LT. What are you thinking about?
Lady Tomo: I have been curious ever since the EgGobblers first appeared as to where they came from. It's obvious enough how they fit in to the food chain:
Lady Tomo: Baby Grenwogs eat eggs; EgGobbler Juniors eat Baby Grenwogs; adult Grenwogs eat the EgGobbler Juniors; and EgGobbler Seniors eat the adult Grenwogs.
«You»: Hm, I see. Grenwogs have been around for a long time, but the EgGobblers seem to have just appeared out of nowhere.
Lady Tomo: Yes. Yet, they are fully adapted to preying on Grenwogs. I found an actualy EgGobbler lair to the east of here. Can you go explore it and report back to me on what you find?
  • Okay!

    «Scene: EgGobbler Lair»

«You»: Here I am! Now to see if I can get all the way through this lair without becoming part of the food chain!!
  • Go!

«The scene shows a baby Grenwog eating the eggs lying around. One of the eggs crack open to reveal an EgGobbler Junior, and the baby Grenwog uses an egg to attack it. The EgGobbler Jr. stretches out its tongue and gobbles up the Grenwog in one go.»

    1 BATTLE
  • Eat some eggs to heal! - You heal 100 HP and MP per click, and your egg counter registers the change
  • Continue

«The next scene shows an adult Grenwog striking the EgGobbler Jr., subsequently eating it up.»

    1 BATTLE
  • Eat some eggs to heal! - You heal 100 HP and MP per click, and your egg counter registers the change
  • Continue

«As the Grenwog lies defeated, the eggs in the background burst open to reveal an EgGobbler Senior. The Grenwog attempts to defeat it, but the EgGobbler Sr. eats up the Grenwog in one mouth.»

    1 BATTLE
  • Eat some eggs to heal! - You heal 100 HP and MP per click, and your egg counter registers the change
  • Continue

«A mysterious person enters and begins striking the EgGobbler Sr. to the point that the EgGobbler Sr. flies off the scene. You enter.»

«You»: Who on Lore are you?!?
EggSlayer: I am the EggSlayer!! I am the apex predator in this food chain! Now, would you like to be beaten, fried or scrambled?
  • !!!«Scene: Returning to Lady Tomo»

Lady Tomo: You're alive!!! *ahem* I mean-- you're back! So soon! So tell me, what did you find out??

  • *facepalm*
