The Rules of the AQWorlds Question & Answer Forum
All Universal Forum Rules relating to posting behavior apply!
These should be the first thing you read when you join the forums. They apply everywhere; this means that any behavior prohibited by the Universal Rules is prohibited in this forum. This means no flaming, no trolling, no spamming your signature or emoticons, and no mentioning hacking. Period.
Use your Resources
The AQW Wiki, AQWorlds Guides forum and Lorepedia are very helpful and important resources. Please search them before posting to ask questions here.
No Discussions
This is a Question and Answer forum, so any thread posted to discuss a topic belongs in the AQWorlds General Discussion forum. The Q&A forum is not for discussion, so once a question has been answered you should not continue to post in its thread.
No Spam
This forum is for AQW-related questions ONLY; please be sure to use the appropriate forum for your topic. If you have found a bug, please use the AQW Bug Tracker. Anything regarding AExtras belongs in the AExtras forum. If you see someone posting spam, please do not reply to it. Mini-modding is also against the rules, and replying to spam just creates more spam. If you find a post or a thread that breaks the rules, please PM one of the AQW Q&A ArchKnights, listed in the post below. "Parroting" is copying the exact words or copying the exact idea of someone's answering post and posting it as your own. Parroting is considered spam with an element of plagiarism, which neither are acceptable.
No Duplicate Topics
If you have a question, please search the forum to see if someone had it first. If there is already a thread about your topic, please read it first to see if the replies answer your question.
No Hijacking
While duplicate topics are not permitted, please do not post in someone else's thread with your own questions. If your issue is not addressed by any existing threads, please post your own thread.
No Bumping
Threads will be considered "dead" if there have been no posts for three days. Posting on a thread that is considered dead is called necrobumping, which is not allowed. If your question does not have any replies after three days, please create a new one.
Name your thread(s) appropriately
Topic titles such as 'Help!', or, worse yet, 'Heeelllpp!!!', are too generic, and doesn't actually say what you need to help with. And never post in caps, it's considered spam. Also, please be very specific in the first post of your thread. Make absolutely sure that people reading can understand what you are saying. It also helps to make sure your spelling and grammar is the best you can make it.
No Game Account Questions
If there is something wrong with your AQW game account, please use the AQW Help Pages. No one on the forums can help you with any game account issues, so please do not post about them in this forum.
No Begging
Begging for Membership, or an upgrade to any of the other AE games is not permitted. Do NOT do it at all, not in PMs, not in threads. There are no contests for which an upgrade is a prize, either. It only encourages begging.
No Cheating/Hacking Accusations
- Posting screenshots of content not officially released
- This breaks the above stated rule, as well. Sometimes it can be from a bug exploit or coding error. Whatever the case, it is not allowed. If you do find a problem (or what you think could be a problem), PM a someone on the Forum Staff (administrator or moderator).
- Found a character you suspect is a cheater, or found websites with information about hacking?
Gather the information (for a character: character ID, why you think it is a cheater and screenshot proof), and PM the details to a Moderator. Do NOT post it in the forums. If you do not include a character ID, we cannot take any action. Please note that the character name is the character ID for AQWorlds.
- If you think your account has been scammed/hacked
, please use the AQW Help Pages. Posting about it in the forums will not help you, and will therefore get deleted and treated as spam.
Any reports for people phishing passwords, or trying to trick people out of their account information must be done via the in-game report system.
Character Ratings and Advice
If you wish to receive a rating or advice, you must create your own thread. When asking for character advice or suggestions, please offer as much helpful information as possible. The more information provided, the better the help will be. Formats are suggested for use when asking for character advice to provide extra information for those that are giving the advice.

On Answering Questions:
Please remember that we were all new once; new to the forums and new to the games. Responding to questions with kindness and understanding is not a request, it is a demand. Any replies that do not add to the topic at hand will be removed - some without notice, some with penalties including official warnings. Any instances of discourteous replies that flame or troll another user will also be met with consequences including official warnings.
Once a correct answer is given, there's no further need for posting answers that are identical in their information. Once the correct information is given, posting the same thing over and over serves no purpose. It's nice to help of course, but there's no need to do so when the information has already been supplied. Repeating answers is considered as spam.
