Looks... Interesting.
Great Art, love the background texture for the sketches. Looks cynical, massive and just a masterpiece.
The thing I fear is that releases are getting shorter and shorter on every game, but I'm sure you guys know what you are doing.

Just one question, will we be able to walk like in DF , AQW and MQ or will we be stationary like in AQ?

Okay Fal. It's just, 5 games at once. Seems to be pushing the envelope a little. I guess a good thing is that the releases are monthly as opposed to weekly, which should lighten the load a bit, but I still am getting worried that it might be a bit much to have 5 games going on at one time.

Its using AQ's engine, I doubt we're going to have walkaround unless its certain quests only

HK, they have staff, a big staff, if they need more, they hire more >.>

This seems awesome. COmplete tie in with AQ, Fali is writing the story, and the art looks amazing. I have a question though, will this include thing like Terra(earth), or will it be something else

Nickwright you are right about the walk-around >.<
But I still hope that we'll be able to do this ^^
Maybe AE will make this possible for us :)

I mean, gawsh, HK. They have nearly 50 people working on just the games themselves. I really think they'd be able to handle this.

It seems like a lot to us because some of us are overloading on playing each of the 5 games. D:

I've not seen this happen yet. Occasionally we get a small release in one of the games but it tends to be followed by a fairly large one.

DF, which started at one quest a week is now occasionally getting several. AQW also gets quite large updates, for example this weekend we're getting the first lord of chaos. AQ still gets the same amount updating in a week as it usually would and like the others sometimes more. I can't speak for MQ, I don't play it enough to make an educated statement on it.

My point is, none of the games has suffered yet. Though sometimes the staff fall behind one week, the next week they're back with twice as much.

I'll probably drop DF from my playlist, and only rarely play it when something catches my eye

WF and AQ and AQW for me :D

WF....I look forward to saying that. I always love when a new game comes out and I fail to realize the abbreviation. It was months before I realized AdventureQuest Worlds could be shortened to AQW.

So soon I will play AQ, DF, MQ, AQW, and WF!

The engine is that of AQ. Much like the engine of MQ is based on that of DF, but even more directly we can for the first time ever for example have a crossover war that occurs in both games simultaneously in separate zones.

Okay is it just me or does the mention of the engine being that of AQ added with the ability for crossover and the mention of races such as elves, dwarves, drakel etc. Makes me think that races will be coming to AQ also ?

I doubt races will come to AQ, its too far along, to be feasible anymore.

Ha i knew you guys were holding out on us with the art design. I am not saying waht is already being used in other AE games
isn't awsome but i knew you (AE) had whole other levels of concept sketching we wern't being shown. Cy and the others are too
talented to be stuck at one design type of art...They are awsome at ltos :DDDDDDDD Anyways awsome art and might i jsut say

His heart rate, it's over 5000! Oh wait, that's not right... *Sighs* A missed opportunity for a perfectly good meme. Anyway, I hope the game features the same walk about system as DF+MQ but like most I'll live without it.

This is SO AWESOME! I can't wait for this game! And plus it's coming out in the middle of summer so I can stay up and wait to get a low ID number. I wonder if I can beat my record of 4778 on AQW. This sounds like AE is beginning a tradition:release a new game every summer to rake in popularity. And I'm just fine with that. Especially since they're going back to one-time fees, I cried a little inside when AQW was announced to require yearly fees to be member (ah, well, it's a Christmas list thing now ). I wonder how the story will go and what the NPCs will look like. It kind of confuses me how we will get to space since it takes place at the same time as AQ (maybe characters from MQ time-travel?)

In any case, I'm waiting for this with bated breath, and can't wait to see how this turns out.

In hindsight: I wonder what the currency will be called? Gold? Credits? Gredits?

I dout that AQ is too far along for it to be feasible anymore for the staff have already mentioned numerious times that they were working on races for AQ.

Hmm well just to let you guys know i typed in Warp Force.com in my adress bar and got AQ's homepage so just to keep
you all from jumping up to do the same thing I did. THey are keeping it a little more closed then AQW was. I mean atleast
on AQW's account they haden't announced it yet and there was already a site up for it. THat shows how secretive they are <3

Races were a nice idea that could've been added a long time ago, but now there's no easy way to do so. Essentially it would be for show, not a real race (no appearance change, just a title, which is pointless).

I'm not sure I see a reason or purpose to titles or character descriptions (they'd be useless fields of text, mostly....they wouldn't enhance or change gameplay enough to delay a release working on them). OTOH Char descriptions are listed on the AQ Sugg FSI....maybe, maybe not.

In any case, requesting any of these things won't get them added (as the FSI clearly has stated), and I see no reason for this thread to exist in light of that. Locking.

Erm, excluding AQW, all the AE games so far are turn-based...

Well, WarpForce looks good. I hope it doens't turn into a MechQuest or DragonFable type game (Hint: Broken).
