@Nickwright:If that's case, how to unscramble it almost certainly has something to do with the "One and one and one and one is four" statement. Perhaps something to do with that Beatles song?

It has been brought to my attention that there was a typo in one of the numbers. I looking it over, I found another. I've totally redid the puzzle. Same schema, same message.

I'm pretty sure (*SIGH*) I have it correct now.

Sorry for the mix up

I got this for letters after taking the square root of the number:

A V I C C T H H A B T D E J N V H V K I Y
C J B C J K N D A V I T I Q Z I V I Q Q
V I S K I Y H J Y A V F I C A C L T H E R
H I A B N T D A E D J M N L I H V R K A I
K

My copy & past is broken

Oh, and the first puzzle in the series was actually mine. I gave it to Falerin and he added the story aspect, so I guess you could say it was ours. The next one was definitely Falerin's, at least I think so. So you can't always assume the clues are clues or that they shouldn't be taken literally. Sometimes they should, other times not. It depends to some extent on who's writing them. But, as I already pointed out, the person posting isn't necessarily the person writing the puzzle.

Confused yet?

Just remember, The God of Good will never steer you wrong. But, he may detour you a bit.

I was about a fourth of the way through translating it when I realized that there were numbers there that didn't have perfect squares. I'm not going to continue until I'm absolutely sure that the numbers are correct.

I translated it all, Gundisalvus (as shown in my above post), but I really can't past that... I'm going to keep trying but it's going to be pretty darn hard. -_-

If you all have some ideas of solving the puzzle, it'd be great for you to join us on IRC. We need the help. D:

G'blargh! I wish I hadn't let my power cord at school. *sigh* Ah well. I may attempt to solve this after I finish this chapter in my Anthropology textbook.

...I kind of want to solve both of them, just to see if they differ. Once we solve this one we can see if a similar process can be used for the old one.

The God of Good will never steer us wrong, eh? Alright. So one and one and one and one really IS four, although how that applies is hazy.

TL, you never translated it. Here it is.

I think the fact that some numbers aren't square are part of the puzzle.

These typos kinda helped us. We know both series translate into (almost) the same message. Since they aren't the same lenght, I guess we have to eliminate some numbers. The question is which ones.I guess a typo in the first made a number that wasn't a perfect square one. So the non-squares are a clue I believe.

The clues we have right now are:
The Beatles
Come Together
one and one and one is three
one and one and one and one is for
But I'll be careful with them, Eldron hasn't confirmed he wrote the puzzle.

At the moment we think that the cipher that Azami has made is the solution of a character substitution and letter scramble.

The numbers that were not translated because they are not perfect squares may also be symbols other than alphabetical letters, which could help with the idea that the [second to] last line is a name with an apostrophe.

Also, have you noticed that the last line is one letter? So far, we've only seen this type of thing from messages by Eldron, which is the beginning letter of his name, and he puts it at the end of his own messages. Could that last letter be an "E", making the decrypted message from Eldron?
