Kuld: There are no coincidences when it comes to Fal.
Perhaps Purgos is in something ilke the Matrix? I dunno, that's all I can come up with.

Purgos
# Purgos offers a complete solution by providing the ability to: instantly install and manage software applications to any number of computers
# collect and manipulate real time hardware, software, and system information
# track the inventory of computers within a network and provide an ownership mechanism
# schedule or instantly run detailed reports on a wide range of computer information and configurations
# remotely control a computer as if physically in front of the computer
# execute commands, processes, and batch files on any number of computers
# manage a network of computers both locally or from remote locations

Could probably easily be connected to this stuff somehow, if you put it in the right context.

"Manage a network remotely" sounds promising. Maybe a Network base or something?

...Hrm. Take a look at this. Uncharacteristically religious, but didn't the Truth saga have something to do with the Trinity in it? A "tower" is sufficiently mysterious.

@Nex del Vida:
And look at the screenshot of the map - the Warpguardian Tower. Coincidence?

Ahh, interesting. I think both of these observations have some importance. I'll do some more searching.

I think it is likely that Purgos is the center of the Network's activity, where they are orchestrated from. Perhaps this is a tower: multi-layered references are in the style of these mysteries.

Hmm interesting, there is two stephen king books Rose Madder, and Dark Tower both are stories that follow the same storylinerefer to each others storylines, and then we find out that Purgos also means tower Very coincidental.

Um, really:
πύργος [purgos] = 'tower'
in ancient and modern Greek...

Well, that's certainly a huge coincidence. Have AE tought on Stephen King? I don't think that's just a coincidence. If those books exist, and AE tought on them, they might give us some hints. But, well, that's just a guess.

...Wow, Cold. That's very good evidence. Thanks.
And Hagen: I found several Russian blogs by googling Purgos.

Okay, I think it is very clear that Purgos is a tower.

Dudu: It is not a coincidence. Falerin certainly knew about this.

Well done, everyone. That's one mystery solved. I'll wait to update until we get another clue relating to this, but I'm fairly confident.

But do we know if it is an actual tower and not a metaphor for something? :P

Well tought, Kuld. AE wouldn't make it that easy. I mean, it's not easy, but AE always like to make what is hard, harder. But what would be a metaphor? The tower, maybe? Or something related to Stephen King?

... Why don't we wait and see? I hate to see everyone jumping to conclusions oh-so-quickly. :x

I am almost certain that the next puzzle will have something to do with the last solution, as has the pattern gone so far, so let's just wait until then.

Nice theories and speculation so far, everyone. All these ideas seem plausible.

'Tower' can mean many things. Its a name used for the chassis of a computer, among other things. So for all we know, the secret may be in a harddrive somewhere, rather than in an actual tower. :P

I anyone feels like it you can check out the dark tower wikipedia article, if Warpforce is going to be related to the dark tower series the storyline could get pretty interesting.

You're right, TreadLight, we might have to wait to see what is exactly right. It's like a maze: we get a way inside of it and need to guess which way to follow everytime. Tough, the chances of getting the right way are always small. By the way, tower could mean something that supports another thing, but nah, that would be too metaphor...

It may well be a metaphor, a planet name or something.
Note that there is a Greek town of πύργος - usually spelled using Latin letters as Pirgos or Pyrgos...

Wow I need to read these Stephen King books!
Here is a clip from the Wiki article that I find quite amusing, at least towards what we are chattering about. :)

That's exactly like Warp Force without any doubts! I mean, the space part related to the tower part, and meaning it's the "nexus of all universes"... I don't think we're either right or not, but that certainly makes sense. And remember that the Guardian Tower was a great reference of BattleOn on AQ. I don't play AQ very often, but I know the Guardian Tower is very important for the game. Can we say it is its nexus? Either way, I repeat: it makes sense.
