OK i can sing worth....no i cant get that either. i am a worthless singer, so just lyrics! through the whole thing, add cutscenes of the elements manifesting themselves and assisting lorians. refrain optional after each element

Okay, I love to write lyrics, but unfortunatly I have no music program (such as Garageband) and I can't sing. So can somebody team up with me? Here is my song.

The'Galin has come

Yes, all submissions go here. As above. No, Guardianship is not a requirement to enter, and the reward will be free Z-Tokens. There is some despute as to weather they will be AQ tokens or WarpForce will have a secondary currency of ZTs also, and your reward is there. The WF release date is not too far away.

ZTs will be in both AQ and WF -- and you can choose which of those 2 games you want your ZTs in. You can also split your ZTs evenly between both games if you like.

Thanks for your opinion. It was really important to me.

I said in the post that it was still work in progress but…
Unfortunately I will not be able to finish it because I don’t have time due to my final exams in college. I will be using all the time I can to study.

To answer your question:
I used Reason 3.0 to make my song (very easy to use).

My Drum was equalized from a Tama sound font you can get for free. You just have to Google it. Also, Reason has a new sound bank called Reason Drum Kit 2.0, it’s perfect.

My guitar was recorded note by note with a Washburn guitar to create a sound font with Vienna Studio. Took a lot of work but now I get all that wasted time back because I don’t have to play the guitar every time I want to record something. It’s not perfect but beats paying big bucks.

For the Bass Guitar I could have done the same (I actually play the bass guitar on my band) but there’s no need since there are infinite good free sound fonts for the bass. Even within Reason 3.0.

The keyboard sounds are all from Reason’s sound bank.

Extra:
Since I can play any of the above instruments, I could have used other programs such as Audition (previously known as Cooledit Pro), Cakewalk, Music Pro or Nuendo which are good for recording what you play yourself, but the final production would never have the same quality because I don’t have a Studio at home.

Oh, one last thing. If you intend to use Reason and want to add yourself singing, you will have to choose one of these programs and rewire it to Reason so they work together. This is the easiest way to do it because of the mixing of the songs. Off course there are other ways.

I have some questions.

Unfortunately I don’t have time to review my song and change it to meet your requirements.

The song is about 6 minutes. Will I be disqualified because of this?

When you say how easily it can be looped.
Do you mean the entire song or for example:
You like a fragment of the song and so you it cut out.
I ask this because my song was made of various loops intentionally.
I didn’t know what would be good for the game and so this way, if you happened to like just some parts or even a fraction of the song, it would be easy to cut it out in order to use it in the game.

You can P.M. me or just answer here. Might be useful to others too.

Length of the entry isn't what matters -- it's the quality and emotion behind the song that will be judged. Length and/or ability to be looped will just go into determining how/if it's actually usable ingame :)
