You know. Mathematical equations are not my idea of an interesting diversion. I really have no idea why these arrived at my library on the isle but I assume there is a reason.

Here be the problems!

I see, Eldron sent me these to rectify. Well I have now processed them as much as possible. I am not about to solve them for you. I have fixed any errors in transcription I found.

Question 1.
1. 5x7=35
2. Assuming the rounded bracket shouldn't be there, 35^4=1500625
3. 8^2 +9^2 = 145
4. 1500625+145 = 1500770
5. 4^2 = 16
6. 16x1500770 = 24012320
7. 24012320 + 1138241 = 25150561
8. 25150561 Again here it is odd, because it asks you to find the square root of it, then square it. So I just left it as it was.
9. Again it just repeats process backwards and forwards, so 25150561 is my final answer here, and thats checking it through 3 times. Then again there is the problem of brackets.

Ah that would make sense. Silly me falling on such a small error.

I wonder what that means... though.

Okay this is getting absurd. I am not sure if a dining machine went on the fritz or if the warpforce is engaging in bizarre email spam pyramids. None the less their latest codes are quite bewildering. See if you can take a stab at it.

Anyone in the room knows morse code?

Thinking about it, it could also be binary code...

hmmmm, i like the idea of the binary codes (thats the 1s and 0s thing right?) the only problem is: are the spoons ones or zeros and vice versa

Well the most straightforward thing to do is to try both and see if either make a coherent message.

We'll have to try one option first and if it doesn't work, go for the opposite. There are only two possibilities, so it is not so much work.

If Fork=0 and Spoon=1, and they do, you get:
"The Brilhado have nearly all returned to the world of their origin. Few remain in the network. "

Binary ftw.

I would guess that this was the easiest puzzle yet. Copy and paste into Word, Replace fork and spoon with 1 and 0 appropriately, and copy both possibilities into a binary translator. Minimal effort.

Yep, definitely easy...Took me about 3 minutes to solve, mostly due to slow loading times here and there. (Newest version of Word=Pain in the arse)

The message we uncovered is rather interesting though.

Gosh I'm slow XD took me forever to get the 0s and 1s nice job Kuld XD

Thats nice to know though, so did most leave when Diviara did? I wonder what brought about their leave.

OK, let's sum up what we have so far (only important messages count!):

spoiler:

  • 1. Our cause is just, our mission is survival. We cannot, we will not fail. - Admiral Amada

  • 2. A V'eld is a K'eld but in the depths of space itself. A flying city in the stars - Pra'Mithia

  • 3. The gods are in the nebula

  • 4. Dark Madders secret lies on purgos

  • 5. Madder rules over Haden with her Iron Grasp. Evidence suggests she is a wearer of the mantle. That this group is so far traveled gives frightening implications to the origins of the first such wearer.

  • 6. Haven, a haven is not, for over it lord terror keeps mastery of his dominions

  • 7. The warpforce shall fall beneath the might of the autarchs.

  • 8. Beware she who seeks the secret

  • 9. The Brilhado have nearly all returned to the world of their origin. Few remain in the network.

  • What common features can we observe here:

  • Madder in 4 and 5
  • Secret in 4 and 8
  • Tyrants (different words are used) in 5 6 7

    What else?

    spoiler:

Haden and Haven seem to be different places, but related: Dark Madder rules over Haden, Lord Terror (is that a name or a title, btw?) over Haven. May the two of them be the autarchs referenced in another message?

The most puzzling one for me is the third. It seems completely unrelated to the others or to most of the information released about the game. Which nebula is that? Those gods are Lorithia and The'Galin? Eldron and Falerin? Or some others?
