Nightly, we really don't care about when the winners will be posted, or the weapons animated, we just want a word or two from the staff about the judging. Something along the lines of "We're sorry, but we were delayed." or "Something happened along the way." or something. But we haven't received word in over a month.

 I can totally understand how you all feel! Rest assured that the judging is occuring. With the release of WF it's just taking a bit longer than expected, sorry for the delay. Try to be patient I'm sure winners will be announced soon.

 No problem mates. I've finished my portion of the judging (heh, which I volunteered for today lol), now we just have to see what the final decision turns out to be. This was a fun contest to judge and there were a lot of great entries.

Can you tell me how judging works?
Do you look at all of the entries or does each judge pick there favorites from assigned pages?

 I'm sure it works a lot like the old Suggestions contest DSN,
In that, they take all the entries, and a Panel of judges pick their favorites. Probably in numbered order, and then the list is narrowed down to those that were picked, and the head judges then deliberate and pick their favorites among the selected favorites.

 I'm not certain whether I can say exactly how the judging works, it seems to vary depending on the size of the contest. I can say that I read and looked at every entry.

 No offense Rw, but that's a lot of looking and a lot of reading. I sure hope you were taking breaks between some of those.

I had been wondering what was going on, but was somewhat distracted myself through another means of warpforce's endeavors.

 Heh, it's only six pages. Try going through one of these that has 30 pages! But I did take a small break around page 4, then continued after about an hour or so. My finalists included quite a few suggestions that had no artwork at all if that tells you anything.

Dang i missed out. only just realized that i was too late.... But i will still give my weapon:

Name: 1000 volt Flail
Element: Energy

Normal
Triggered

Description: New technology forged by elven blacksmiths, able to disintegrate even the toughest of foes into a small pile of ash.

Special ability:
Hits-3
Damage: 120% base and Random damage

  • [] means to round off
  • Chance to paralyze enemy rolls to avoid and gains bonuses equal to [(Level/10)+(CHA/20)+(END/10)+(LUK/20)]. To avoid it must roll equal to or higher then [40+(Strength/8)+(INT/8)]
  • While opponent is in paralyzed state, he is un-able to do melee attacks
  • Each turn enemy is infected it re-rolls to try and get out.


Trigger: If enemy attacks with energy is triggered

  • Weapons element becomes water
  • BtH -3%
