I like the new character page. Now that we only have 2 weeks left, can we know what the racial bonuses will be?

Wow I didn't even know this was here! Looks like I should have been checking more than the official site and the Announcements section.

I hope this isn't a sign that my WarpForce blog is going to fail.

And Minar, your birthday is near WF also? Mine is the 9th.

Nice one, Captian Rhubarb, very nice, and much better.

I like that it is still AQ styled, but more futuristic and WarpForce-y.

I like that character page. I wonder what purpose the gauntlets will serve; possibly serving as the shields. I also wonder what a drakel looks like in Warpguardian armor.

Probably because WF shares the same database as AQ. Thus, your ID just stacks along with AQ.

I have been away from this forum for long, hmm, the character page looks awesome, just hope my parents will let me upgrade.

WarpForce is about Lorians traveling the galaxy to fight a massive enemy army that has spread almost everywhere -- It is its own story that has the Devourer storylines in AQ as background. Some of the NPCs in WF have deeper backstories, like Celestra and Temura, that tie in very much with the Devourer, but the Network is its own thing.

AQ may have more Devourer storylines in the future, but we will be doing a lot more that isn't related to the Devourer plot from now on. The Absolix and No Man's Land storylines were about the aftermath of the Devourer, but both of those are concluding with this week's release.

That reveals quite alot actually. 'Shields' is replaced by gauntlets, and 'Spells' is released by 'skills/techs'
I like the idea of it though, even though gauntlets are essentially a weapon

AQ moved beyond the Devourer saga over a year ago. There were things that were aftermath but as of this week those stories end.

Yes to the first question, no to the other one...It's more like a "Star Trek style universe with AQ as a dominant theme".

thanks for answering, are there any clues unto what AQ will go onto be. Will it be another storyline or just random wars, and new classes, and new adventurers.

I would assume we get make our character on the 3rd.
Also, I guess it makes sense that we start with built on ID numbers.

Also, a Gauntlets DOES sounds like a weapon more than a shield to me, but oh well, it is what it is.

I believe we will be doing that, but with the Devourer Theme, then again, alot of games boil right down to exploring and leveling.
