Calm down.

It's only scheduled to be released 15 minutes later. Take the time to play some AE's other games, or something, rather than complaining in this thread, please.

Shields seem to be gauntlets, and spells seems to be skills and techs.

I believe that confirms the theory on the genius Cyber Tech beng this game's mage.
