Wow... that's pretty hardcore. Running when your left foot has been shredded by that much salt is quite a feat. I'm impressed.

Out of curiosity, Frozt... what did Farsith have for breakfast?

Kenzoku, which hand did F'thear use to strike with the staff, and which turned into a claw? From the Illithid's point of view, not Jon's.

By the way, it was Jon's right arm that he reached with. I had it written that way in my first draft... Must have gotten lost in rewrites. My mistake.

The left arm was the claw, his right holding the staff.

Recar, I'm guessing you threw the dagger at Gub's target, not Gub's actual weapon....The way it reads, it sounds almost like you're trying to deflect Gub's knife in the air.

Probably because he did Cheeseliker.

It was an assault on the weapon Gub threw. Morine attempted to block the dagger, then attacked Gub.

Apocalypse, is Angelo's sight completely reliant on the whole Toph-like 'vibrations through feet' thing? If it is, then projectiles are invisible to him, right?

I so hate being in a different time zone than the majority of you guys, as I'm going to bed, you're all starting to post.

@ Frozt...

Need to know, actually. Otherwise I wouldn't ask. :-P

Hmm... Okay then, but don't imagine the goo on the ground... :P

He had a roasted rabbit with carrots, and a single sparrow...
After that he he had a bit of ale, followed by another round of rabbit...
And he topped it off with two large mugs of ale...

And there is no salt left in it, since none of it had been salted...
Which means his stomach has already digested the salt...

See, i knew why you might ask... :P

Heh, thanks for the intercept there, Recar.

To all fountain combattants, the water will not be instantly chilled, but you should feel a rather rapid decline in water temperature. Uninterrupted, it could get to hypothermia-inducing temperatures. Just an FYI.

Krey, Angelo has shredders on his legs too. You might trip him, but only after the blades cut you to pieces. That is unless I misread and the bladed part is behind his leg.

Hopefully I'll post today, i've been unexpectedly away from my computer. I'm using my iPhone at the moment and its not suitable for writing a long post.

@AttilatheHun: Just so you know, if you could'nt read it from my post, Farsith is running towards Tel'rion so your attack towards him would'nt really hit as he is not standing where he was when you attacked him... So you might want to edit you post in a way so that you would'nt have to wait for my response, as i am myself waiting for a response from GoN... Sorry if that wasn't clear from my post... :/

Yay, posted. Slightly rushed, I apologise, but I've got precious little time.

I don't think anything in my post needs too much clarification, but any problems and I'll be happy to sort them out. Zenz's accent is noticably 'common', as it was influenced by his time with the dwarves.

I have posted. I will be editing shortly, just to add the detail of the water temperature change, which for some reason I didn't put in my post despite it being in my first draft... I blame Krey for this.

Kenzoku, when you refer to tentacles going for Eli's ankles, I assume you mean the arm tentacles? The face ones are probably a bit short for that.

Also, ducking would probably be the worst idea ever, rather than getting a shield to the chest, now it is going to go right into your head.

Edit: Ducking or kneeling still put your head about level with where the shield is going to be...

Minor correction kenzoku, Krey's character is the one in the duster, my character would most easily be identified as the 'dusty swordsman' as I believe someone said in one of their posts.

Gah! Sorry, Ged's. Guess I missed that.

@Kell: Perhaps ducking isn't the right word. What I intended was for K'bar to drop to his knees and bow forward a bit. And yes, I mean his arms.

Also, his head would be below chest level. No wound.

Kenzoku: kneeling and squatting put one's head at approximately the same level. Kneeling often puts one head at a slightly higher level.

I highly doubt you could kneel AND duck your head forward enough to entirely evade a chest-level shield slice, considering the SPEED at which such a slice would necessarily need to be made in order to do damage. It would take nigh impossible speed.

Ronin, Kenzoku and I have a disagreement over the proper resolution of our latest actions (Fountain Arena Posts #18-#21). I'd like to request that you determine if I acted properly, or if Kenzoku is correct and should not have received a wound.

I do suppose it would, TD. I suppose I'll have to take the wound then.
