1) Forum clans. Used to be the most popular place on the forums. Just about everyone was in a clan. The height of the forum clans was when there were official forum clans and unofficial forum clans. I created the Fairblood Mercenaries about a year before the offical and unfoffical clans came out and when it came out we were one of the first to join up. Missed the clan wars, the friendly bragging, and the competition there. 2) The oldest armor I have is Zombie Form. It's basically useless, but few people if any still have it. Used to be pretty good back in the day. Got some old Carnax armors. 3) I remember when Au Legacy went rare. Everyone was like omg!!!! and started mad farming for it. THis was when there were no caps. (which was great) 4) Looking at staff character pages and guessing what the war rewards would be lol. People would go and click on their pages and see the names of the new weapons and then we'd all be sitting around on the forums guessing what it would be and stuff. My first account was made back in 2004. I also remember the forum clans. I was in The Gathering of Lightbringers. Forum clans made the game so much better because you actually felt you had presence on the forums and you had a group of people to help you develop your character. At one point the forum clans also had experience wars where they would gather teams and use a site that was called Uber something to track experience gain for a certain amount of time. I remember when people were way more active and creative on the art section of the forums. I was a card maker and took sig requests. I actually made one of the first sigs for the Fairblooded Mercenaries clan. And everyone wanted AQ cards and creators would create sprites for all the armors and you could custom request your character on a card. I remember getting Frostvale gifts and having to wait for them to open to reveal the armor/weapon/shield/pet you got. I remember the one undead war with the bugged shield with the high sellback price that people exploited to get rich quick and buy the Golden Set. Shield was like 500 and sold for 1000, maybe I dunno. Just remember the shield sold for more than you bought it for. I remember when gameplay was taken more seriously and blatant cheaters weren't showing up on AQ Stats as often as they do now. There are tons on the list with levels 100+ but only have 100-300 battles and no stats or equipment at all. And I remember getting equipment that would be rare so that you could keep them to show off or to sell for more as they aged. And when they opened up the gem market and prices would fluctuate from month to month and you had to find the right times to buy and sale. An AQ stock market if you will. I remember when DF came out, the shadow weapons were the best, I spent hours looking for some codex thing in a dungeon, and the level cap was like 25. I could be waaaaaaaaaayyyyy off base here but I vaguely remember an attempt at a dual wielding armor and a sort of PvP set up where you would fight a randomly picked ghost of someone else's character. Again, could just be something I think I remember.
