I like the monthly release/"bonus release" system.

It gives the devs plenty of time to work on game updates, increasing the quality of the releases, while the occasional "bonus" stuff just comes around once in a while as a nice suprise.

Yes the gauntlet is good. Also, since it deals light damage, its a good alternative to the lightning gauntlets.

Awesome! :D

This quest is very impressive. What I like the most is that the quality of the animations have increased. The design of the Hand of Creation is phenonemal, too.

You guys did really well with this bonus release. :)

This is phenomenal. I like the possiblity of bonus releases becasue it helps with the waiting for full releases and it allows you guys more time to release stuff if it isn't ready to go out with the reset of the major release being it that you guys are working on two games now.

jakemaster, I don't think bonus releases are going to be common so don't expect them

But this quest was amazing, very good animation, given the engine limitations. :p

That's something we've considered. It may be up for change, given that it DOES use your gauntlet. We need to consider what it does without a gauntlet equipped -- or if it will even function without a gauntlet equipped.

westwind, what about w/o a gauntlet, it either does like 10% less damage W/O a gauntlet OR it does the same damage as a gauntlet, but you take a BIT of damage, depending on your character lvl and the monsters lvl, but always does atleast 10% damage of the attack to you. How's that for an idea?

Got HoC same day I became a WG. Love this game. Reminds me of the good old days when AQ was new =). It also brings to me what I thought MQ would be like. MAybe there will be a merger...?

 I would think a safe bet would be to make it lose enough power to make it work as a Harm element attack. Little sense in forcing you to have a Gauntlet to punch something and also no sense to have you do elemental damage without utilizing an element in some way.

The problem is that the power punch isn't a weapon attack...if it uses your gauntlet element when you have one equipped, why would it use your weapon element when you don't?

I suppose it could still do harm damage like a basic gauntlet blast...but whatever the staff decides on for it I'm sure will work fine.
