Um, not trying to be a mini mod, but wouldnt just posting your race, and like FTW, or is awesome, or somethink like that be spam, as its only, like 1-4 words?

Meh, i have a drakel at lvl 10, a dark elf at lvl 3, a human at lvl 3, and a human at lvl 2.

I picked elf since I like playing a "fantasy" race in a sci-fi game. I like the paradox of it all. Plus elves are sexy.

i had trouble choosing drakel over elf i mean i always wanted an elf plus you can just get the drakel form in aq but idk i guess i just decided to choose it becuase i liked the idea of being part dragon (kind of)

I picked elf:) elfs are just kool, in every multi-race game, elfs are always the strongest but they lack numbers. I see a resemblance he ;P

To be truthful, i think the reason why there are so few elves is because they are not as integral in the AQ story
in the epic quest, they have some fairly significant rules, but it has always been the drakel, human, and dragon races focused on. there have been (at least, there might have been more) 2 wars concerning drakels, every war involves the humans by necessity, and quite a bot of weaponry in AQ and WF are drakel made or related, and there has so far been little elvish items. I dont even find the elves to be very interesting in AQ, as their key traits(talented magicians, lethal agility, and great shots with a bow etc.) are done better by other races in AQ(except perhaps for their archery).
still, the elves are somewhat cool nonetheless and i have an elf Character on WF, my other character being a drakel.

yer that is probably a good reason. there is no real difference in the characters other then the looks anyway and drakels i admit do look kool. Maybe in the future there may be other differences between the races but i suspect them to be small and only significant as a your char starts off. but i am guessing another reason is that players that dont understand the game, namely younger players (mostly the ones that lie about there age.) see the the drakels as the dominant or more powerful chars that also look to be dark or evil but mainly because they resemble a dragon and in most stories the dragon tends to be the strongest creature.

I have 5 Non-WG lvl 10 characters:

1 main drakel striker
1 main elf striker
1 main human striker
1 secondary elf gunner
1 secondary human gunner

IMO:

Drakels=Elf>human

The first 3 are mirror equipment images of each other and will remain so(balance between the races) even with rares

The last two are mirror images and will remain so but will be rare-less

I want Orc. Mainly because the generals with the scarves and armor have awesome swords I would like to cut Viren up with. But honestly, the Drakel was not at all a surprise considering that the overall design of elves were a little underwhelming. Not only that but Elves don't seem that big in AQ. Only ones I know are Lavistria (I think that's her name), that one from the Speed Spitter quest and... er Aquella (a water elf???).
Drakels are just too good for the Elves and humans. Probably the reason they are always our enemies though (or most of the time) like that commander kragg and that war we had, and the Drakel Civil War, and when they were in Greenguard and Granemor.

I am an elf gunner. they should have specials for each race so you can have certain advantages.

Elf=fast and agile (more likely to hit and more likely enemy miss)
Human=a little of both (well rounded)
Drakel=stronger than most (more strength [if striker] and more dext. [if gunner])


P.S. dext. needs to add damage to guns and gauntlets.

 if they allowed guns to have stat bonues then it would be unbalanced. guns are designed to do less damage because they get other advantages.

I originally hoped that the three races would be like the three starting classes;

Elf -> Rogue
Human -> Warrior
Drakel -> Mage

That's what made me choose Drakel in the first place, at any rate.

oh and i picked Drakels because i like the metal Jaw XD (reminds me of WH40k/DoW Ork War bosses)
