I doubt Shearhide will be as powerful as Nightbane, very few non-deity characters came close to matching Nightbane's full strength. And besides, making him that ridiculously powerful will mean that it's next to impossible for us to beat him assuming he is the boss of this war, and taking into account our current maximum levels, moreso in the case of free players.

Wow Glador doesn't look so..... awful.

Also NightBane was able to kill 1,000 thousand dragons and then drink their blood, so one transformed Dragon with different strengths but the same power level is not going to stand a chance. NightBane was also forsaken giving him even more power.

THese Lvl. whatever Cor-Dem are tough to beat when you're only lvl 16.
Making us fight enemies that are 10 Levels ahead of us... good plan.

I don't know why exactly. However, when you win, it does make you feel nice, doesn't it? : D
but seriously, i'm lvl 19 and i just owned a lvl 27 Cor-Dem. The character scaling is all weird.

Yeah Scaling in WF can be pretty harsh. My char died a few times in this war due to fighting to much higher level enemies in a row without a heal. Hopefully they'll improve that

Or atleast have twilly heal after each battle. I'd be ok with the scaling if they did that for the war.

Edit: Also, potion bag between fights.

yeah it'd be nice. Although I have a feeling the scaling is due to the lack of monsters and is an attempt to have more variety without making a ton of different versions of each monster

If you're refering to what I said, you seem to not be understanding correctly. The version we see were probably planned for the future so they don't have to keep making new ones as the level caps raise. So insted of making a lot more then they normally would, they use a few planned for the future

The monsters in this situation are a little off for a reason. The monsters are exactly the same server wise and considering the standards in the games are very different for now than the monsters will be harder for one group and easier for another. Also I believe the monster levels are not being made around the level cap but being made for every level tier. Meaning when we reach higher than level 30 there will already be monsters made for us to fight.

If you look in the pedia, In Media Res has a post about our level tiers in relationship to monster level.

The level tiers given prove the point. These wars are made to be played in the future through Lkeas, so they need to be made to account for higher levels. Thus tiering seems off, particularly since current high levels are at the low end of their tier, and there aren't many different monsters in the first place, not to mention the lack of suitable equipment for some of the higher levels

Hah, the Cor-Dem are now easy, I boosted some stats and got new Heavy Gunner Armor.

if that is so then they shud make a random weapon that is boosted .. it is crazy that i have to face two monsters in a row that even in a one on one fight i would have difficulty beating..

This just means if i want to contribute to this war .. it is AQ i have to fight from!!

I don't seem to have to much trouble with the monsters, even as a Level 25. All you need is a pet, potions, a Medic Spell, and whatever weapon the monster is weakest to and I was fine.
