In AQW general discussion forum rules, it clearly states that no suggestions are allowed to be posted.
However, as far as I am aware, it does not say that it is not allowed to make a thread discussing a suggestion.

I have seen threads discussing suggestions with "THIS IS NOT A SUGGESTION!" written on its first post in bold or capitals, which is partly why I posted this.

In case this may sound confusing, here is an example thread:
Thread Starter/First Post - "Do you think AQW needs this new feature? It does a, b and c, and therefore it will help by doing x, y and z. What do you think about how this might work?"
Of course, a, b, c, x, y and z are just things the theoretical new feature would do.

So that's my question. If it isn't in the forum rules, I would recommend that it would be added to the list of rules and guidelines - I have seen threads discussing suggestions more than once*. If it is in the forum rules, then I apologise for posting this thread and not reading that part of the forum rules. (Mods/AKs may lock this thread if it is stated in the forum rules).

*I know this isn't the forum suggestions forum, but my thread's kind of a cross between support and suggestion. However, since it's more support than suggestion, I posted it here.

But there's really no stopping Members making/creating/posting/Etc. Suggestions which will end in a Locked Thread anyway...

More or less, that's not a suggestion thread. :)

That, actually, is a somewhat (alike) a petition thread.

is somewhat similar. And that is why it's capable to being lockable.

Discussion about suggestion is somewhat like a petition then it will somehow change into a suggestion thread, which will then be locked/delete.

Discussing a suggestion requires that a suggestion be made, which is not allowed in AQW General Discussion by its current rules. If discussing suggestions were allowed we might as well allow suggestions in general, because everyone is going to be posting their suggestions under the guise of discussion topics ("Discuss my idea here!").
