What measures do you take on reporting a forum Moderater for abuse of their power?...

Is there a particular Head Administrater that is not known to be biased under any circumstances?

First speak to the person in question. If that doesn't work then you need to speak to the head mod of the area in which the incident happened. If the situation still isn't resolved then you move on to the administrators.

Already tried plan A, Unsucccesful. Also, the events occur between AQW General Thread and Q&A thread, multiple times...so not sure which it would be....could you tell me?

Also, Honeslty,...if the person is a Moderator under a particular forum, you are suggesting that that "Head Mod" will not be biased..? when there is a 50/50 chance that "Head Mod" is the one who appointed sed lower moderator in the first place...?

To be honest, after this is resolved, I won't be posting much on the forums if at all, but it's the princicple. Abuse of power is not something you would expect from someone who should assist you and others, and when you contest or have a "point of view" besides theirs, thay forget the meaning of discussion between two adults and take offense to it. This is the 6th or so time this has happened and it's bothersome when trying to get feedback or have a discussion and the person deletes your thread all together, insted of simply posting "A bestter place to put it" or...moving it all together. Then again, this should have not happened in the first place, due to the fact that they were already properly placed.

I suppose you are right Meemeepink4... :/ Oh the world we live in...

Me and the person in question are conversing,.."Finally"...I will most likely drop it, even if we do not come to an understanding. The fact the she is speaking to me is decent enough and calms mind mind a bit as to their antics.

Thank you everyone, I am sleepy, work tommorow and so much more. My Mothers birthday is apporoaching :).

Goodnight for now.

Edit: Sorry Skarh, I read your post in the other and I replied accordingly I thought o_o..., anyway, yes, I heard Reens is a sweetie and takes time to read PM's.

if they use a power on you and you thing they shouldn't report it to icemaster yeti he is the head moderator of this forums.
if head than if the head mod tells you that they can not do anthing else report it to admins: artix, reens, Galanoth, Captain Rhubarb, Circe.

More than a Game

Circe is currently the head of the forums. If your problem isn't solved with the person in question, and then the head moderator of the area, you can PM Circe.

well reens ignored my pm about 4days ago.
secondly, its going to be very had to report a moderator for power abuse.
you cannot report just becuase of one issue. they have to be repeat offenders/ i hope you are not talking about the TOP staff "the ones that can post on the homepage" becuase they make the game and can do what ever they want being that its their game. "unless its MAJOR abuse"

argueing with a mod isnt the best solution. i suggest agreeing with the mod not matter what the problem is. if the issue doesnt get resolved. apparently if they are already abusing their power, then they wont hesitate to ban you for giving them a reason to.

No, you won't get banned for disagreeing with a moderator Wxo. Let's avoid spreading misinformation, shall we?

Out of the Universal Rules:

quote:

24) Staff have the final say
If you are told by a staff member to stop doing something, you cannot claim that it was not stated in the rules. It is impossible and impractical to list every rule possible. Attempting to circumvent a rule will result in a more severe warning. Also, the determination of things such as begging, flaming, spam, whining, etc. are dependent on the mod, not the users. Any complaints involving attempts to find loop holes in the rules and complaining that it was not explicitly stated in the rules will not be acted upon.
Disagreeing with them in anything other then a private, respectful manner will be considered not only harassment but trolling. If you have issues with moderation that has occurred the correct actions to take are:

For an ArchKnight: (All contact mentioned is by PM/Private Message)
PM them first as an attempt to resolve the issue. If you are unable to resolve the issue with the AK then you may contact head moderator of the forum you are inquiring about. See the Forum Staff and Assistants by Section post to find out who to contact. If you are unable to resolve your issue, then you can take it to a Forum Admin. Refer to the same list to find out which Forum Admin would best be able to help you. If none of them fit the bill, contact one of the Head Forum Administrators.

For a Moderator: (All contact mentioned is by PM/Private Message)
Contact the head moderator of the forum you are enquiring about when attempting to resolve the issue. If you are unable to resolve your issue, then you can take it to a Forum Admin. Refer to the same list to find out which Forum Admin would best be able to help you. If none of them fit the bill, contact one of the Head Forum Administrators.

If the problem was in AQW GD, contact Elnaith first. If you can't resolve the problem with him, move on to an administrator on the AE Staff and Staff Assistants List (Note: Despite advice given earlier, please do not attempt to contact game staff such as Galanoth or Captain Rhubarb about this issue), then go to Circe if you're still not satisfied. If the problem was in AQW Q&A or across multiple boards, go straight to Circe.

Locking the thread as the question has been answered.
