Legasee, I remember you too...

I feel like this game has gotten crazy since I last played. So much more stuff I have no idea what anything is anymore, i feel like ill never get back to the swing of things haha...overwhelming to say the least

What was 1st item to go rare remember reading ages ago it was a sword that belonged to a clan, I think.

When I was a low level I sold pretty much all of my rares from bunny jammies to light dragonblade and of course the carnax stuff. Deep inside I'm so sad... But I still have my lovely Bladehenge

 @Lickitysplit: I hear ya. That is exactly the reason why I myself haven't stopped playing AQ yet. I'm afraid that if I wanted to come back I would be so lost I wouldn't even know where to begin in terms of playing catch-up. XD

Sold most of my rares :c
The problem with rares is that you get an item, then you outlevel it, and it becomes worse than an item you had before, or maybe you rearrange your characters stats. For example, I had the Mindlock Orb, but I switched to a warrior. I had Woolly Thoctar, but now I have MUCH better guests.

I sold Frozen Magic Flagpole. The ultimate statement that I am giving up the mage's ways. I still have the Blowout shield from '07 to prove I was there, so no biggee :P

i lost my corpse canon when i got hacked. now i really miss it but now i have terror sai which is also really good, i wonder what will be for mogloween this year.

Technically, Baby Void Dragon is still rare and always will be, but there exists a Z-token clone known as the Void Drayk. Baby Void Dragon, rare, Void Drayk, not rare. And I was there for the ending and beginning of that war too... so many wonderful items missed out on, because I was still fairly clueless about the game, and now nothing to show for my character being there. *sigh* But I have amassed quite the collection now that I'm actually trying to get rares. Not so interested in Seasonal Rares though.

I don't remember if I posted here...it's been so long since I've done anything AQ related....
Anyhow I've only got a Wooly Thoctar, I really wish I could get a higher levelled version, even this one is still amazingly good for me.

My oldest and probably most notable rare is Daimyo Lvl.35 from Frostvale 2004 gift box.

besides that I have Amulet of Drakonnan which I'm pretty sure was the first Misc. item ever.
Mother Rose Staff,Icefall, Little Me,Frostvale Spirit Armour,Blowout shield,Winter shield,Bone Shield,Searing Wizard's Fire,Roasted Chestnut, Quackinator,and Bungles the Penguin.

On My secondary I also have Little me, and Leave it to Cleaver. oh and I have the premium item Ultra Ice Katana which is probably my most used item

I remember Major Award, 50% chance to paralyze for guardian and 35% for adventurer. II thought the Gift Boxes would stay the same so I sold it because I didn't like the spell
I don't really remember any rares before Frostval' 07, except for April Fools and the Bobblehead of the Devourer.
Oh Helm of Drakonnan is A rare for me because I'm an adventurer.

Actually the Azru Stone was the very first. It was first classified as a shield then when the Misc. items slot first came out it was shifted to a Misc. item ;)

@johnny

I still use my six signs although I mostly just use the wood sign. Mainly because all my weapons are ranged except 1 so I get a 30 DEX boost and 15 to my ranged defence which can be quite handy.

only rares i have are bar of Soap(take this Nagas) and Blarney Rogue 3(take this Trolls)

i regret selling my bunny jammies and accidentally selling my vampire nerfbat...

 Well, I sold off my Deadeye Cupid, one of the Signs (can't recall which one offhand) and Darklaw amongst others. ;_;

Although I don't feel too bad in the case of Darklaw as it was one of the lower level versions and I needed to free up an inventory slot to get the Oaklore Crusher.

 These are the rares that I can remember off the top of my head. I've had quite a few rares in the time that I've been playing but I replaced them as I leveled up.

Primary Account:
Frozen Magic Flagpole: It was sooo useful. I will never sell it.
Signs: Sold them for Dr. Boom. I only used the Water sign anyway.
Great Pumpkin Patch: Traded it for Kiss of Amesha
Candy Golems: Was a worthy token investment :D


Secondary Account:
Zard Droppings: It was a funny rare but it kept on missing so I sold it.
Staff of Astradex
Pumpkin Staff + Shield
Great Pumpkin Patch
Signs
Dragon King's Heavy Axe: Thinking about selling it for a higher BTH weapon

Summon black widow brain spider is not rare. It's still available in the devourer saga.

Btwy Great Pumpkin Patch is available every year during Mogloween. It's not really rare. Just like Love Potion pops up every year. You can play the side quests to get them.

i guess my kiss of the amnesha IV counts and i had auspicious bladenhenge but i sold it...
whats the facination with rares? a good amount of them are less powerful than current weapons so why keep them?
