Type the word: S-H-A-T-T-E-R-E-D

the first 4 letters will be censored

shattered

Is this a censoring bug? or the only way to censor that 4-letter word?

I currently have poems and works in the L&L that use that word. And besides... there are other words that may contain the 4 letters consecutively. Is there a way to solve this problem?

Oh yeah: If cursing is allowed by our characters in a story, will there still be a need to censor it? I was thinking of something like turning off the sensoring in the L&L [ Creative Writing subforum only (except Comments section because anyone can post there)]

Hm, yeah, I think this has been brought up before and there's no way to have it recognize how you're using those letters in another word. In this case, I feel like that particular word can be removed from the filter. I understand that the present tense can be offensive, but I've only very rarely seen the past tense used offensively. It seems like an odd one to filter when I can use the word "cocky" without getting hit with the asterisks, at any rate.

There is a short term solution to getting around the filter, but to avoid it being used for evil I'll PM you rather than posting it. :P
