How do I get permission to post in the Unofficial Games and Contests forum?

 After reading the forum rules you create a game in the Pending Contests and Games section. Once it gets approved it will be moved into the main section.

So you basically have to PM an ArchKnight about a game and they'll let you post it if they approve?

 Not quite. You never have the ability to post in the main section of that forum. All of your games must be created in the Pending Games section, and an AK will move them from Pending games to the main forum if they are complete and follow all the rules. Only PM an AK of that forum if you have been waiting for more than 14 days and your complete game is still not approved.
