Thyton retaliates against Jemini's drawing

So Jemini and Thyton were in a meeting and decided to doodle. Thyton was first drawing a normal Jemini until he drew the pupils on opposite sides which you'll understand when you see the final drawing. This prompted Jemini to retaliate with a simple little drawing of Thyton.



That is Jemini's image. Thyton, who has never been one to admit defeat in a fight, decided to launch his own retaliation.

The fun begins with everytime Thyton adds to his drawing, Jemini nearly points to a different aspect of her drawing, causing Thyton to draw even more on his drawing of Jemini. In the end, it looks like someone shot a rubber band and another person shot a nuke. Here is Thyton's retaliation.



Clearly, Thyton does not believe in overkill.

Hallo from Points East! I'm having a sort of vacation, in that I am not at home, and assisting some dear friends who live in a large city, doing things like helping get a broken air-conditioning unit out of the window and out of the apartment, and doing errands such as looking for the proper style of 60-watt lightbulbs...

They don't have internet access at their place, so I've been going to this wonderful coffee shop just a few blocks away, which offers free Wi-Fi. It's very small, so I try not to over-stay my welcome, but they have been very sweet and accommodating - and they brew excellent coffee, of which I've been drinking quite a lot more than usual. Yesterday I sat there and ate a delicious arugula salad with freshly-grated parmesan curls while testing the release with Korin and Vivi.

Yep, that was Vivi. Not our Azami (who also helps test when he has time). Thanks, Vivi!! I had to go hunting lightbulbs before we were quite finished with the testing - who knew that 60-watt bulbs would be so elusive.

This morning I am using a chain coffee shop to access the internet, which is not nearly as nice, but the little shop restricts laptops until afternoon on Saturdays. Because people go there to, y'know, eat brunch and stuff. Which is really what the cafe is for.

So anyway I wanted to nudge everyone to tell Korin on the forums what a great job he did with the release this week, doing practically everything solo since we all went hither and thither without him... Korin is seriously awesome!

And now I must away to stalk the wild 60-watt! See you at DragonCon if you're going - and I'll be home and back to a more usual way of doing things after the holidays!

I was so excited to hear about the many die-hard MechQuest fans there! I know from the forums how intense, loyal, and dedicated you are - thanks for turning out for the convention! I wish I could have been there myself - but I am planning to go to DragonCon this year, and couldn't do both. Are you going to DragonCon?

Holy cow.... The last few days have been severely long. It's been an odd week. First off, congratulations to Jemini. She has finally graduated college with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree! Good for her. I hope she enjoys her debt like the rest of us. I mention this though because she was doing a lot this week getting ready for graduation and making sure she wouldn't fail. So she wasn't available as much as she usually is which is perfectly understandable given the circumstances. Warlic and Yergen Von Shmergenbergen were given a big deadline so they were unable to help. So the result? A litle bit of a late release but a total level up on our part.

Whatever happened to that Dragonoid?

Well, this didn't really happen but it was suggested by forum member, Wolfencreek. I found it funny so I animated it very quickly. What's nice is that it's animated in 1080p so it's technically HD which lets the viewer see all the detail. You would think it would be easy to export as high quality video as a file that isn't over 3GB but it turns out it isn't. There's a small glitch near the end of the video but everything else is fine. This was the closest I could get to having the video look good.
