Hi! I was burning my eyes out with some bright colors and was thinking of a no color option in your Profile so you don't see colors. If it's possible, I'm sure people would appreciate it. Any thoughts?

I use this workaround in IE (note it affects *all* webpages):

1. TOOLS -> INTERNET OPTIONS
2. Click on ACCESSIBILITY
3. Clck the first option (ignore colors specified on webpages)
4. Click OK twice. Enjoy!

Outsmarting Bugs

The issue that comes to mind for me is that there's no way to prevent such a feature from stripping the color off of something that an AK or moderator has colored to draw attention to (particularly their edit messages), making it easy for someone who has disabled colors to miss something important.

@etching I use FF, as well as many other users, and there are many other browsers too. The option also takes color off all pages which might not be wanted. :\

@phoenix Didn't think of that, but if I'm thinking there's a chance it can be coded so it doesn't affect tagged threads. Maybe it can ignore stickies or FAQ's for the filter, too?

Well, as an ArchKnight I don't edit only tagged, FAQ's or stickies.
Any post in the forums can get an edit. I don't think there's a way of coding to get around that.

well, I thought it meant titles :P. Not sure about that, could be an if statement saying that if this post was ever edited by someone with power, ignore it. Might need post history though :\.

If you don't want to burn your eyes out with bright colors, highlight the text. Then it will be a darker but readable text.

I know that, but don't you think that would be annoying for most people, if not all?
