How come somone else can lock a post that I made anyways. It just said "Question answered, Leu Locked. ~Leumas Dragonsword" on the last post. Can someone help me or at least explain to me how he/she did it?

Exquisitely pathological

Moderators and ArchKnights (their assistants) can lock posts. Normal members cannot. In the AQW Q&A, posts are locked if the question has been answered, or if the thread violates a rule.

Leumas Dragonsword, or Leu, is an ArchKnight (AK). AK's are staff assistants put in charge of certain areas of the Forums to keep them under control. For whatever reason, Leumas locked your thread because it was either in violation, or did not require any more responses.

Leu is a he, and his full forum name is Leumas Dragonsword, often called Leu for short.

He is what the forum identifies as an Arch Knight. This group is speacially chosen by forum Moderators and Administrators to help out keeping the forum in tip-top shape. They were handpicked and they have the ability to lock, and delete posts.
Here is a little paragraph about them by Alac:
quote:

ArchKnights (AKs)
Title: ArchKnight (Will include "Arch" or "AK" and the name/s of the board/s they work in)
Responsibility: To help the moderators keep the forum clean. They patrol their assigned boards helping users, watching for and dealing with rules violations (such as spam, flaming, trolling, etc). They issue warnings and recommend bans to the moderators. In addition, they keep an eye out for helpful forum users to bring to the attention of the moderators/administrators. They may have other duties depending on which board/s they work.
Selection: AKs are selected from among helpful forum users (who do not appear to actively be seeking power/advancement) by the head moderator of the board/s they frequent. The head moderator discusses their selection with Circe, the head of the ArchKnights, and if she approves, they are brought aboard.

Thanks for the help, but can the forum starter lock the post too and how. I forgot to add that to the first question.

No, the thread starter is only able to delete his post/thread by clicking the delete button!

A list of the actions you are able to perform is posted at the bottom of the page and is slightly different for each board, in the Icon Legend.

You can't click on the icon legends, they are just there to show you what you can and can't do.
The sign means that you can perform that specific action in that board.
And the means you cannot do such action in said board.
Also,in not every board you can delete your own thread, but in some you can delete your own post.

@Army,just pointing out, that in some boards, the thread starter can only edit his post, like for example, the AQW GD,Q&A..etc.

@ I
If you are not able to delete your post, you don't have a delete button = very simple in my view!
Respectively if you don't have a delete button you are not able to delete a post/your thread, because of this I didn't see a reason to say it

In some forums, such as DF Guides, you can request to lock your thread or delete posts in it, but these are only for a few forums.
