I just want to point out that the "mass mod locks" are not necessarily due to the Q&A style, but more so due to the Head Moderator of the forum. In MQ Q&A, for instance, there are rarely any mass lockings because we prefer to edit in a locking message as to not bump all the answered threads to the top of the page. In AQ Q&A, mass lockings are also not as pronounced because we do not lock a post unless the thread starter requests for one as opposed to locking once a question has been answered.

I think this isn't a good idea, as people could abuse this idea and use it against staff they dislike. Such as if a staff member is busy on forums or in-game, and does not reply they could rate this individual staff member with a low rating, or if a player disliked a staff member, they would give him a really low score. Overall only the best are chosen as staff therefore they would not need to be rated, as it is known that they are the, best.

Unfortunately, I don't see much value in a staff rating system. I'd prefer to receive feedback for each individual case on its own. If you have a problem with the moderating staff and are unable to work it out with them via PM, you should definitely contact me so we can talk it over. However, a system of rating staff members based on arbitrary standards that only partially apply to their performance isn't something I'm comfortable with. While I appreciate the spirit in which these suggestions are made, ranking things or people isn't going to be a part of this forum. We all do our best and that is what's going to be the standard for me.
