The Rules of the AQWorlds Suggestions Forum
All Universal Forum Rules relating to posting behavior apply!
These should be the first thing you read when you join the forums. They apply everywhere; this means that any behavior prohibited by the Universal Rules is prohibited in this forum. This means no flaming, no trolling, no spamming your signature or emoticons, and no mentioning hacking. Period.
Read and know the Frequently Suggested Ideas thread
Many ideas are suggested so very often that they are listed among the FSI thread for the sake of clarification. The FSI thread contains many ideas which are impractical, impossible, or simply won't happen, as well as other good ideas which may eventually be worked on, given time. We ask that you do not suggest any of the ideas contained in the FSI thread. Failure to acknowledge this can result in deletion of your post as well as any further action that may be warranted.
No Plagiarism
Do not post anything that you did not create as if it is your own work. Credit must be given, regardless of where it came from - IRC, PM, replies etc. Any instance of plagiarism will result in consequences beyond the norm. If you think that your idea or someone else's has been plagiarized, please PM a member of the AQW Suggestions forum staff; do not post about it.
No Spam
Please do not post any individual suggestion multiple times, as you can make multiple posts in a thread with different material, or have multiple suggestions in any one post.
- If you have posted an armor and weapon together in the item set suggestions thread, you do not need to also post them in the armor and weapon suggestions threads individually.
- If you have posted a pet suggestion in the Frostval items suggestion thread, you do not need to post it in the pet suggestions thread as well.
Suggestions should be thorough and well thought-out!
Many ideas are good ones, but without details, it will be very hard for people to understand exactly what you want. We ask that you put time and effort into your post to help ensure that your suggestion isn't misunderstood or ignored. Suggestions which are rushed or left incomplete may appear as spam and will be deleted. Further consequences may be deemed necessary to address complaints which are masked as suggestions. Please keep your ideas tame and reasonable within the PG Guidelines.
Discussion of Suggestions
If you wish to comment on someone's suggestion, you may do so in the Player Suggestions Discussion Thread. Any discussion posts in the actual suggestion threads will be classed as off-topic spam and deleted. Be courteous of others' suggestions. If you agree, it is helpful to explain what you like about the suggestion. If you disagree, explain why using constructive criticism. Flaming and insults will not be tolerated and appropriate consequences will happen, accordingly.
No Bug Reports
All and any bugs need to be reported to the Bug Tracker. Although it may seem like a suggestion, the only way a bug will get fixed is by reporting it properly.
Image Restrictions
Images of a suggestion's content may be used, but may only be posted as links; do not use [image] tags.
No Signatures
Signatures are not allowed on this forum. This is to avoid the clutter that comes with them. They only detract from your suggestion so please do not use them.
Advertisements are not permitted
Your suggestions may be well and good, but it is not permitted for you to actively advertise them in any form, be it posting in other people's threads to link to your post, posting threads in other forums or having links in your signature (i.e., "Look at my suggestions please!"). Advertising your suggestion post may result in deletion of your post, and any further consequences deemed appropriate.

Submitting ideas does not in any way mean your art, ideas, etc. will be used or included in any way. Any ideas submitted to Artix Entertainment, LLC (AE) are free to be used by AE as desired. Any ideas, art, works, or suggestions submitted to Artix Entertainment, LLC (AE), or a member of, become property of Artix Entertainment, LLC (AE). Do not steal the ideas posted here, and give credit if using any material knowingly taken from someone else's ideas. Do not suggest anything taken from an outside source, such as television media, movies, books, or the like. While a parody is acceptable, copyrighted ideas cannot be used word for word as they are in outside sources.
Generic ideas are not copyrighted and are not considered stolen material whether it has been seen in other suggestion threads or in a media resource. In some cases, an idea is already planned for use by Artix Entertainment, and although you are welcome to post your own example of these ideas, be aware that your post may only be used for inspiration toward an idea already in progress or disregarded in entirety.
