Whether this is happening in the other AE forums, I'm not sure, but it's happening in the AQW GD at least.

Often, posts are deleting without any warning whatsoever. I had a great thread (3 pages at the time, started it yesterday. "Forgotten Promises" if it matters.) and it was deleted without a warning in the thread so we could get on track (one of the posters was continually telling me to "stop complaining", though I was not [which I stated many times]), nor did I get a warning in a PM.

There wasn't even a notification that it was deleted.

I spent around 1-2 hours on the original post alone, not to mention replying to many of the posts in the thread.

This has been happening for the past few weeks now. At least 3 or more of my posts have been deleted, all of which without any warnings and notification.

This is getting to the point where I'm considering just giving up my forum account, and moving on. In the some 4 years I've been here (some times more active then other times), I don't remember this happening. There's always been at least a notification.

Please, if any AK/mod/staff member has anything to say about this, or knows why it's happening, I would really appreciate the response.

That thread was deleted by an ArchKnight because the ArchKnight thought it was leading to a flame/troll war.
ArchKnights should be notifying the owners of posts they delete.

I'm sorry that you ran into this issue.

So they deleted the entire thread, instead of deleting the posts that were troublesome?

Wouldn't just deleting the posts, and warning the authors be more of a fix instead of ruining all the work put into that thread?

The problem with flaming and trolling is that often deleting the problematic posts can throw off an entire trend of thought.
It's difficult to delete posts and hand out warnings at the same time people keep posting.

I'm sorry for sending the deletion PM late. I ran into IRL scheduling trouble right after I deleted it and asked another AK to help me out. You should have received the PM by now, and I'm sorry for any trouble it might've caused you.

If you'd like the code for the original post, please PM me.

It's alright, I'm sorry if I seemed a bit snarky.

I was just annoyed after putting all the work into that thread, then having deleted \=

I backed up the post though when I made the original, I figured, who knows, I might need this again, especially since it took 1-2 hours to go through all those Design Notes :P

Seeing this issue is now solved, thread locked.
