I have a question regarding the forum, where are the actual mod interview threads opened, i could just find the archives?
wait, is this a forum support question?

When a mod or AK is given the position, they have to choice to post a Meet the <X> in their respective board.

Meet the Mod/AK archives can be found here. The active threads can be found in the forum the AK is assigned, or, in the case of a moderator, the forum that they most frequent.
