should threads be deleted or locked? if a thread is really short for example, my thread in Q&A is really short, so should i delete it to save space for should i have it locked for further use incase?

well only mods or AK's (who work for that thread section) can lock a thread...but if you want to delete a thread you can do that almost anywhere...really though it's up to you...if you make one and think it's served it's purpose than go ahead and delete it, if not wait until the higher up people lock it

Depends where your thread at if its in a Q&A it should be fine if its a short since your asking,but in GD boards your thread should have a purpose and its discussable by everyone if not it will most likely get deleted or locked but they want the forum to look clean so more possibility deleted. In Q&A you should ask for a lock since others might have also have the same question so they won't have to create another thread about it instead they'll just browse your thread,but if its not suppose to be in that board like it should be in the GD then it will get delete.
