Thing is, if the codes are included in the signature, the signature would actually be more disruptive, since it would probably become too long and stretch the page. Another problem would be that if the bad codes are given, there could be forumites that just repost his/her signature and go on their merry way. Then it'd become a chore to take them out again and PM'ing them explaining the rules for signatures... There are image uploaders that save your pictures. They include Tinypic and Photobucket, though you do need an account for both of them. So if you upload your image to one of those sites and delete it from your computer, you should be able to retrieve and edit it (Print Screen could help here as well). A better option would be to save the picture to your computer, so you could re-edit it if needed.
