Jatar, im pretty sure the staff confirmed them to be permanent* and why would you want them to be rare anyways?

If they're permanent then they won't be as good. Permanent items are much weaker then rares that come out. These wil most likely be permanent but weak.

I'm not asking for them to be rare. Just hoping there actually good. I need a decent sidearm because I've been sticking to my Beta Blaster and Overlord Blaster. They don't have better sidearms in the game that aren't rare.

Overlord blaster and Plasma ACP etc are level 31. there will be at least 1 33 energy gun and physical gun.

I imagine these weapons will fall into the same kind of damage/stat capacity as the primaries that were added to naomi's inventory. They wont have premium stats because they will be permanent items, but they should still have decent stats non-the-less.

 Updating to the newest version of Flash (and then restarting my computer just to be safe) didn't help at all.

I'm using Google Chrome so it automatically updated to their latest flash, but the game is still running slow for me.

 Ok, installed the newest version of flash (10.3.183.7) on Chrome 15.0.861.0 and EpicDuel runs smoothly.

Unfortunately, Chrome is a bit slow on it as they still think the latest version of Flash is 10.3.183.5. They'll probably figure out Adobe updated Flash within the next few days, if you're willing to wait. If not, you can always update Flash yourself by disabling the pre-installed version and installing the newest version from the adobe website.

Inconceivable!


 Chrome won't automatically update if you are on version 10.3.183.5 (the version giving ED problems, ironically). You'll need to go type "about:plugins" in your address bar and disable the latest version of Flash, then visit the the Flash download page ( http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/) and you'll be able to get 10.3.183.7

Great stats, a very nice addition for those who are running focus builds still. The aux will be a great stat provider to those non-variums. :)

This is interesting, the new weapons don't have really "higher" damage, but gives great stats. Maybe the Devs are finally noticing that if weapon damage kept scaling on level, it will be overpowered. Or maybe they just don't want to rip off the promotions with huge damage...

Since this is the staff information thread, I guess this is the best place to announce this.

Illuminator has also been added as an official tester, and it was well deserved in my opinion. :)
