Temura: We finally have a chance to rescue Colonel Ba'Tokk from the Defilers! Intelligence has decoded a signal with its source on Omnus. It seems as though the Network is taking Ba'Tokk offworld.
Temura: We don't know where he'll be taken next, so I need you to intercept his escort and get him back before the Defilers escape with him.

«Scene: The LSS Alteon flies through space. The Scene then zooms in on the WG Tower, from which your Zhoom-6000 flies.»
«You»: Tower, I've got a lock on Omnus. Preparing for warp!
«Your ship enters warpspace and then you exit near Omnus, where three Defiler ships are flying away.»
«You»: I'm just in time! The Defiler escorts are leaving now!
«The Defiler ships launch a spread of mines.»
The Defiler escort ships have launched a spread of space mines! Get through the mines and reach the Defiler ships before they enter warpspace and escape!
Dodge and blast through the mines to get to the ships! (Begins a minigame in which you must dodge and blast through the mines for 30 seconds; note, however, that the shooting is not working.)

Try again (starts the minigame over)

Risk a short warp jump through the mines to get to the ships! (Dialogue continues below)

Colonel Ba'Tokk: I was beginning to think these nuts-and-bolters were going to keep me forever.

Colonel Ba'Tokk: No, other than feeding me some extremely slimy goo that they assured me was organic matter to keep me alive.
Colonel Ba'Tokk: Considering there aren't actually any living things left on their world, they must have synthesized it. That alone I suppose was both mental AND physical torture.
«You»: Come with me back to my fighter. We've got to get out of Omnus airspace before they send more ships out here!

Mission Debriefing:
Nice job! Now that the Colonel is back, Dark Madder doesn't have anyone to hold as hostage. Omnus looks like it might be where she has taken the Engine of Creation, so I hear. We might be heading back there soon!
In the meantime, I have some other intelligence I need to review regarding the colony world of Hur'an Rooj. The planet has been a haven for refugees of Devourer-affected civilizations for thousands of years, and it seems that the Exos have gained some kind of foothold there. I'll let you know when we need you...
