The sounds of blaster cannons and gunners shouting commands filled the bridge of the Resister.
"Gunner command. Status report on the enemy ship." the commanding officer said.
"Captain Veeland, their hyperspace engine is completely blown away. Their is no chance of them escaping. There is a clear path for our boarding ship to attach to their hangar."
"Their weapons?"
Just as he asked, there was a sound of ripping metal. The enemy ships' main gun had been blown completely off, and it went drifting into space, colliding into an asteroid and exploding.
Captain Veeland pressed a button on his wrist comlink.
"Lommelle, you're good to go."
In the hangar of the Resister, Relliard Lommelle, leader of Jaguar Company, answered the call.
"Yessir, we're ready to board."
Relliard and 29 other SDF SpecOps Commandos loaded onto a boarding ship. Their mission was to capture the smuggler crew of the large frigate that the Resister had been battling in space. The crew had been smuggling illegal weaponry to and from Lagos and Lore. They were part of the largest piracy syndicate in the galaxy. Disabling this crew would deal a big blow to the syndicate.
The dropship took off from the hangar, heading toward the smuggler frigate that was just floating dead in space, without power, a hyperdrive, or shields. Relliard and his team knew the pirates would be ready for them. The dropship was filled with sounds of loading power packs into rifles and the clicking of sounds made from power adjustments on energy blades.
"Set your energy blades and rifles for stun. We want them alive."
Creek, crik-smash!
They had reached their destination. The door of the dropship opened, and they were welcomed by a huge laser blast fired by a mecha in the smuggler's hangar. A Khaeldron was in the cockpit, clutching a blaster pistol in his left hand and controlling the mecha with his right.
"Blast them!"
