Blind Quest '08

Location: Hero's Heart Day '08 --> Blind Quest
Objective: Wow. That date was very... STRANGE! It's a good thing that you survived!
Requirements: None
Release Date: 2/14/08

    Dialogue:
    Eddie: Welcome to Blind Quest! We have a great show in store tonight! Are you ready? Ready to fall in love?
    Eddie: Today's contestant is <Character>, an aspiring galactic hero who delivers pizza and hunts ghosts on the side!
    Eddie: From our specifically proven "hat full of names" we have selected a blind date for him.
    Eddie: The Mystery Date will ask <Character> a series of questions to determine if he is compatible.
    Eddie: For every correct answer, <Character> will... RECEIVE 50 CREDITS!
    Eddie: Then if the interrogation goes well, you will see real footage of their actual date! Are you ready? Ready to fall in love?

    Objective: Medeia will never tame the beast known as Braddock Steele! His greatest love is and always will be... Blowing up the Shadowscythe!

    Braddock's phone rings

    Braddock Steele: Hang on a sec, <Character> - I have to take this.
    Braddock Steele: Steele here. Yes? .... A rescue mission? ... Lots of danger? .... Shadowscythe Armada? ... Count me in!
    Braddock Steele: Sorry, <Character>, but I'm needed elsewhere. Some Shadowscythe want to feel the onslaught of pain!

    Takes his little ship and fly to space

    Braddock: So the Shadowscythe have abducted the Wolfblade House Leader, Xaria and my objective is to get her out.
    Braddock: She said in her distress message that she was somewhere in the prisoner wing of the Shadowscythe Battleship.
    Braddock: She claims that there aren't many Shadowscythe on board but they probably made her say it to lure me into a trap.
    Braddock: I'll be dissapointed if it's not.

    Fly to Shadowscythe Battleship

    Grunt: Medeia! Braddock Steele approaches!!
    Medeia: Excellent! Give me an on-screen visual immediately!
    Medeia: Ah yes... Braddock Steele. You are the perfect mate for me and I will have you.
    Medeia: Wait for him to board the ship. Contact me once he's in our possession.

    Braddock: Hahaha! Now this is what I like... hopeless odds!
    Braddock: I must admit... The Shadowscythe responsible for capturing me must be a great soldier indeed!
    Braddock: Unfortunately, capturing me was the last mistake he'll ever make!
    Braddock: Because my greatest love is blowing up Shadowscythe!
    Braddock: Now, to find a way off of this rusty tin can!

    Plays minigame - fight yourBraddock's way to rescue Xaria!

    Braddock: I'm guessing you're the commander of this tin can. Where's Xaria?
    Medeia: Oh, you won't find her here. I'm afraid I had to create a purpose for you to come here.
    Braddock: Heh. I see. So this has been one big trap all along... I'm not complaining, but why bother?
    Medeia: Your Hero's Heart Day just so happens to coincide with the Shadowscythe mating season...
    Medeia: ...and I have chosen my mate. You laugh at the face of danger. You hope your missions will end in a trap.
    Medeia: You are truely the perfect mate - and now I will collect you for my own!
    Braddock: I must admit, your plan is one of the best - and I'm sure someone or something could fall for a girl like you... but baby...
    Braddock: I just love blowing up you Shadowscythe more.

    Fight yourBraddock's way back to Braddock's ship

    Medeia: You are definitely the most fitting warrior to be my mate. One day you will be mine.
    Medeia: There's always next mating season...

    Objective: To get the War Meter to 100% and beat the boss, Congratulations! You defeated a Shadowscythe enemy in the Heroes Hearts War!
    Requirements: None

    After rescuing Braddock:
    Braddock Steele: Thank you for rescuing me, <Character>. I can't settle down yet!

    Talk
    Braddock Steele: The Shadowscythe have started another little war. In fact, it's surprisingly small.
    Braddock Steele: They can't possibly believe that they can accomplish anything with such small numbers.
    Braddock Steele: That doesn't bother me though. If there's a Shadowscythe butt in need of kicking, I will happily oblige.

    At War Meter 100%:
    Before rescuing: (Tek replaces Braddock)
    Tek: We don't have any time to spare! We have to get to that ship and get Braddock back!
    Tek: Get your stuff together and get ready to go!

    After rescuing:
    Braddock Steele: I'm lucky to have you on my team, <Character>! Everytime I need help, I can always count on you!

    Braddock Steele: Loved that to death, <Character>!! Because blowing up Shadowscythe is my greatest love...

    Bachelor #1: I enjoy destroying the Shadowscythe, destroying small moons...actually anything with explosions.
    <You>: Sounds like you have an explosive personality.
    Crowd: *Groans*
    ???: *Groans*
    Bachelor #1: Ha ha ha! I like your sense of humor.
    <You>: Well I'm glad some people here do.
    <You>: Well, what would you consider to be your biggest strength?
    Bachelor #1: I don't like losing. If I can find a way to win, I'll take it. Failure should never be an option.
    <You>: That sounds like it would be a really good trait to have.
    Eddie: All right! That's all the time for this contestant. Let's bring out Bachelor number 2!
    <You>: Bachelor number 2. What do you think would be the perfect date?
    Bachelor #2: Finding a nice quiet spot and just looking up at the stars. There's so many and they are pretty romantic.
    <You>: I can totally agree with that. They are quite romantic.
    <You>: If you had to pick one quality in your date what would it be?
    Bachelor #2: Probably them being honest. If they didn't like the dinner or where we went on the date I'd want to know!
    <You>: I feel the same way.
    Eddie: Sounds like you two have a lot in common! Well it's time to meet Bachelor #3!

    <You>: Who was that guy? He seemed really familiar but with the blocker there I couldn't see him.

    <You>: OK this isn't good. Maybe calling in my mecha will throw him off.

    <You>: Was that...Jameson?
    <You>: In a pink mecha...
    <You>: Shooting hearts at me....
    <You>: You know, by now I didn't think anything would surprise me. Apparently there are still things that confuse me beyond belief.
    <You>: I need a piece of pie. I really hope Maegwyn's is still open.

    Jameson: ....
    Jameson: .....nest.....time.....
