Do you think the new robot armor is worth it?

I dont think the new robot armor is worth it compared to charfade's and even the classes armor (marine etc etc). Firstly because unlike charfades armor where you can do a great hybrid focus 5 build no one can use 2/6/2/6 for anything. Or the mercs class armor the Desert Marine where you can make a great support build( defense is covered because of hybrid). Their are only 3 things where it is better compared to the others:
1. Cheaper then Charfades armor
2. More enhancement spots then Marine
3. If your willing you can make the armor into a slightly more stat desert marine armor 6/2/6+2/2+6 =6/2/8/8. but if your going to use this armor you want more support. u can get 12 on desert but only 10 on robot.
Tell me what you guys think of it?

It's worth it . Gives the stats of the founder armor and is cheaper than Space Warrior .
It made founders and Space Warriors REALLY MAD , such as myself .
On the other hand ,the stats are unevenly distributed making me grateful that I bought Space Warrior . Still , overall , it's good ,get it over Marine or whatever

It is worth it if you missed the george lowe armor, because you can class change with it and it still wearable.

It is on par with Space Warrior, and its allot cheaper. Not to mention that fact that it looks Epic! I think it definitely is worth it.

really? dont u want the 4/4/4/4 for higher dex and support? i prefer it 10 fold
@snai u would use desert marine instead of this for tanking thats what i think

The Warbot is better for str builds than Space Warrior. It looks good too, maybe the head is a bit oversized.

@drianx it isnt better then space all thought it has more strength. We need dexterity to actually hit. robot wastes 6 on tech while space only wastes 4 meaning (giving it to support which increases the stun a fraction higher.

I hate the new armor not only do the stats go totally against mages but now it's impossible to tell what class your against

Yes, it's a good armor. Plus it fit so perfectly into my Tech Build I din't even need to retrain!

I love it, i use a 5 focus build and its just fits in perfect if i use the physical set. (mage btw)

The New armor is not good ,

1)Its modifiers located very bad,doesnt fit support build and str build.
2)you cant use different mask with it

it doesnt matter if stat's uneven if you got a weapon like frostbane or az bane you got 18 enhancements to work with to "even" out those stats.

why goto all that trouble with my space warrior and all my equips i get
Azarael bane=0/8/8/8+10
Plasma acp= 0/2/10/6
Charfade launcher=0/4/6/4
Space warrior=4/4/4/4 +8
if i want to do support build
4/18/30/40
Now lets see when i do the robot armor:
Support:
Azarael bane=0/8/8/8+10
Plasma acp=0/2/10/6
Charfade launcher=0/4/6/4
Warbot=6/2/6/2 +8
6/16/30/38
as you can see you get less dexterity and less support.

You cant count very well. If they both got 16+8 and all the rest of the gear is the same how did you manage to get a diffrent total?


PS: you forgot to add +2 dex, so basicly only difference is +2 support to space armor and +2 strength to warbot.

 Worth it.

Look at it this way:

Caden's Cuirass:

16 stats, 4 enhance.
16000 credits, 950 Varium

Warbot

16 stats, 8 enhance
15000 credits, 995 Varium

For 1000 less credits and 45 more Varium, you get double the enhancements. The stats are decent(I'm serious, my support got murdered, but my build is merely tweaked) so any Tech Mage will PWN with this build.


In short, thank you Nightwraith! Looks are perfect(so much like founder) and the stats are PERFECT!!!
Guys, be grateful for what you got. Would you prefer having NOTHING? Or NO GAME?

As a bounty hunter,

High strength / high tech armors = Epic fail.

If I want a high tech build I'll use Shadow Guard Physical.

So doesn't impress me, but it's not strong enough to worry me either.

Overall, whatever, and PLEASE cut it out with one-size-fits all and limited rares. You're just being cheap now....
