we all know that over the last 1-1.5 yeasr, the admins have promised us many features that still don't exist,
Now, i, for one, believe they have forgotten about some of them, and that they are already half-finished in a unknown map.
So, i made this topic as a reminder list, not to tell them what to do, but just, to remind them :)

i plan on editing this topic with your additions to the list, for i can only come up withh a handfull this instance.

-Retrain Revamp
-2VBoss fights
-Survival mode
-Gamma bike wheels that move
-name and character type change achievements should go rare
-founder stepdown
-earnable achievements
-New arcade games
-Elites and Founders get stuff
-...



also feel free to discuss the list and what you want first

I think founder step down has taken a stupid amount of time ... honestly how much coding does it take to move names in a faction ...



P.S - This thread will prob get locked btw, for speaking about how long it takes em to release stuff ... which is really annoying , 3 weeks per update L

They also promised to keep looking after us Elites even after AE took over... promises promises.

^I doubt your the original Concrete, but they still are looking after the elites.
You guys had unlimited varium for a while, then after that ended you receieved 20,000 varium, your achievement got an extra 500 rating points added. What more do you want? 15k wins added to your account? I think not, they continue to support *All their players.
Whether you may see it or not, they do.

Edit:The reason why I say your probably not the orignal Concrete is because, Five the owner (Last time I checked) of Miracle, and Concrete never complained forum wise about how Elites didn't get enough.

@concrete: No way in any universe have the elites not gotten enough:

look at it this way, buying elite status is like a stock with 2 pretty fair outcomes: 1) ED fails, crashes and elites get some varium and have short sweet time
2) ED succeeds and strives on and elites get rewarded

in the real world: 1) company fails, and the stockholder looses every miniscule penny they ever invested
2) company succeeds and you get paid back

So what did elites get as payback: free founder/betas and $100 worth of varium for only $20, a free hoverbike (another $10 considering it's sort of like a varium hoverbike)

I don't think any elite truly feels like they deserve more, they are just whining for the heck of it, in hopes of recieving some other gift

AS for new features....

Buff up low levels! A lv 29 var player still doesn't stand a chance against a lv 30 var player

wow another discussion bout elites. ok firstly yeah they did not get much. they help support the game but they dun get wat they were promised. again i suggest this for every battle an elite wins he/she gets 1 varium(npc counts) they will get what they were promised and elites would be happy. be reminded they need to work for their varium not sit down n get free var every update as they were promised.

now back to topic

B9000 said this some where hover bike letting u tp(teleport) anywhere u want. wat happen to that idea i think b9000 qouted a post i cant find it. when i do i will post the link.

^I remember that.
Though I can't think of what he said exactly I know it was something like this "For all those who have a Hoverbike soon you will be able to teleport all across Delta V", I think it was in the update video for Hoverbikes, if not then maybe the next video after that.

Edit:If the admins were to implement such a feature (If an Elite every battle you win you get one varium added to your account) hackers could easily manipulate it.

Also Nightwraith and Titan are working hard when it comes to security issues, I doubt they will release something that puts the EpicDuel Community at risk.

^yeah but the hackers can easily get var without using the idea i suggested. hackers can do loads of things. a smart hackers would not do that cause he will need to work for his varium and be seen.

All of the things listed are still being worked on, and they do intend to release them in time, but since they have to try to release every week they have less time to finish large features (I believe Cysero explained this in an AQW Design Note). Releasing content isn't that hard, and they can do it weekly, but releasing new features takes a long time to finish, because they have to code it make sure it works, test it and work out the bugs, then release it and hope it wont break the game. :P

The Gamma bike wheels do turn, that was fixed a long time ago (its just hard to notice).

Elites where promised a lot and they have gotten more then enough for their investment, they even had infinite varium for a while which needed to be taken out because of the overwhelming advantage it gave elites over the other players (like unlimited battle boost). For the time they had it though they could get anything without losing anything, they got a free bike which to this day is still rare, and they got a lump sum of varium after the infinite varium was removed. I don't know if founders or elites will be getting anything new in the future, but what I do know is, if they do it wont give them any kind of advantage in battle (it will be something like a house or a bike which has little effect on other players).

Verium sell back was never promised, however its still a good idea and may be added one day, but I don't know the developers intentions on this feature.

The bike teleport idea was scrapped in favor of house teleportation, not to say bikes aren't useful though, its nice to be able to move faster when getting around within an area (walking is just too slow).

Founder step down isn't as simple as it seems, theres a lot of small details that need to be worked out before it can be implemented in order to keep non faction founders from taking over factions without a founders permission. It's a delicate feature that could cause a ton of issues if its abused in the wrong way, also they where going to release it, however they found a few game breaking bugs that where associated with the feature, and postponed it until they find time to fix the issues.

Lastly this discussion is becoming a hacking discussion and since it's against AEF rules to discuss hacking on the forum I'm gonna lock this. I believe I answered all concerns brought up in this thread, but if I'm forgetting anything, please PM me, thanks.
