Chapter 2: Trapped between Jail and Time The trip was a odd one, the Cage the Sneevils were trapped in were being thrown about like a Child's Rattle being pulled in by some forces while others spat them out. The bars of this cage became increasingly weaker every time it hit a wall in the Teleportation Void. Slowly the cage approached a Purple Light. After about ten minutes of complete darkness, it was a relief to finally see the bright purple lights. These lights didn't make it any easier for their cage, if anything the trip was becoming harder. Balls of lighter purple light exploded on impact with the cage. About five minutes later, another purple ball hit one of the weaker bars, allowing a screech to penetrate the sound of explosions and crashing. The weaker bar fell off and then, one by one, the other bars made the same terrible screech and fell as well. The floor they were standing on then shattered, as is it were made out of glass. The Sneevils plummeted through the purple void that seemed to extend itself every time they got close to the bottom. All of a sudden, the surrounding colors changed to that of a city crawling with Mecha's. The Sneevil's crashed onto a house with a loud thud. Sendai picked himself up, ripping a strange glowing creature off his leg. He helped the other Sneevil's get up, pulling off any more of the creatures that had attached to them. He examined the area, to see if anything could be of any use to them. He found several things, huge TV's advertising a drink called Mocha Cola, a notice board advertising the G.E.A.R.S Games and a Robot Bird circling over head. But the lack of Boxes in the City was the only subject of discussion for a good ten minutes. Suddenly, the TV that was advertising Mocha Cola, changed to a police notice. Over the TV, pictures of the Sneevil's came up on screen, while a voice talked over the top, "These potentially dangerous fugitives were caught stealing earlier today from Aztec Mecha Factory. They managed to escape the security drones and are now loose somewhere on Soluna. In order to catch the fugitives we have send armed Eye Pod's to find them." There is a short pause, "We have placed a bounty on their heads of 100,000 Nova Gems. If you have any information, please call our Police Force at, 01242 48724" The screen then changed back to a Mocha Cola, but the quiet that once filled the air was replaced by the sound of Mecha's feet hitting the ground and the cries of people. The Sneevils looked at each other, before one decided to talk, "We not bad Sneevil's, we only steal Box not Mecha." "We can explain reasons later, but we need to find a hiding place, I don't think we have much time left." They looked around and found a trapdoor on the roof, hidden by a plant pot. One by one they jumped down. They had landed in a hallway, a red carpet with small yellow tassels spanned through the entire pathway. On each side of the room, their were ten doors. Each labeled with a golden number, R1 to R20. The Sneevils walked down the hallway, each labeled with a sign saying NOT Vacant. As they got to the end, they heard a man running after them, "Are you Sendai?" They all turned around, the man wore a Black Cloak and a Sombrero that hid his eyes. His mouth was hidden by a Grey Beard. Sendai looked at him suspiciously, his noticing them seemed strange, as if he knew they were coming. But, like most other people, he could be tricking them for the Nova Gem Bounty on their heads. "Yes, I'm Sendai." He said with cautiousness, which obviously showed in his voice. The mystery man laughed. "Theres nothing to be scared about Sendai." "What do you want from me then?" "Come into my room." He whispered, "I can't allow anyone to hear this." He then walked into Room R3. Sendai and his army not following. Until he heard a women through one of the doors, he're voice just loud enough to work out what she was saying, "I've seen them, they're in Shrewsdale Hotel, floor R." Sendai turned back to the man, who was already at the door. Inviting them into the room, they all ran in and then the man closed the door, locking it.
