I don't think that no talking with live action will be good. Since you can't tell your history, who is this NPC (shopkeeper, mission giver etc.), your superpowers etc.

Well, I read the first post in this topic and it seems that you have to talk, not use text. If you don't want other people to hear your voice, you can always edit your voice with Voice Editing Software

if my char becomes an npc will i get mod privileges? like free mem and infinite gold and stuff?

@mr meerka: 99.999% sure you won't. But you do get to be recognized by eveyone who plays the game.

If i were to enter this contest, how will we be slotted as good or evil, because i tend to wards the side of a mercenary character that works for either side for gold. hypothetically, if i were to enter and win, would that be characterized as good or evil

1ok ... so let me clarify this just so i dont embarass myself on youtube....
i can film my character on herosmash and add a void over as him for my thing?

2if we decide to show ourselves do we dress as our hero in game or as we want him to look should we be chosen???

[prince valkdoorr] 1. From my understanding, you can record your in-game character as long as you do a voice over for the video, in other words; yes.

2. No, you can dress up as silly as you want but I doubt that will determine the looks on your NPC character.

I don't believe there is due to the fact that it's not an internship or anything like that. Rather, it models any of their other contests where people simply post regardless of age/country.

On a side note, when will the first NPC be chosen? I realize that it will be monthly, but will it start at the end of March, or will the first choice be in April?

It's not like you're going to be a mod, which would require you to be 18+.

But since it's a contest and you're just getting an NPC, in other words; get recognized, you don't need to be a certain age.
And if you did, they would of made sure to post an age requirement.

There are some nice idead out there... But I will be the winner :D

Also, Artix didn't answer my queston, and if he doesn't I'll do it anways.

BTW, my question was: "Can we use extras in our videos? Other people to use as suppoet characters or minor baddies for our characters to beat? Cause I already got my crew ready!"

Do you have to speak? Could you model it after one of those early animations, where the guy talks, then the text appears in fancy script on a black background? Because I can record, with no audio, though. I can have music though.

Man, Real life huh? Dang thought it was supposed to be Hero smash Character... well atleast making my Hero Smash character got my skills slightly less worse.

Now thinking about it, I think I'll do it. It's worth the try and the embarrassment. Though making the costume I want will be hard, I can guarantee it'll be worth it.
