I hate how you guys are bringing up topics that I mentioned months ago, yet nobody listened to me. Support is the OLD Strength. Support Mercs have been dominating 2v2 for as long as I can remember (I have a Level 32 Tech Mage who specializes in 2v2... believe me, Artillery Strike is still more powerful than most non-Mercs think it is).

First of all, sorry im more popular then you on forums? Second of all im not trying to steal your spot light so if your that full of yourself i can edit my first post saying "Lectrix insisted this topic was his idea first, so give him all the credit to him" if you want. Third who cares if you brought it up months ago, we are talking about after the Nerf update which was a few days ago. Lastly, I'm not talking about just Support Merc's in 2v2, I'm talking about all classes in both Battle modes. So with all this said can you atleast give some on topic input other then Artillery strike is powerful lol....

Speaking of new battle modes, we we're promised them since beginning of Beta. Where are they?

i would like to see a 2 players VS 1 player
2 vs 1
not that 2 vs a boss thingy that they made
a real 2 vs 1 players vs player
of course however the player thats alone will have to fight players that are 4-6 lvls lower than him
because like someone before said. 2 lvl 27s = 54
while the player alone is lvl 32-33

Although this doesnt support the topic i feel as i should point out the fact that a good majority of the players of this game is 32-33 so adding a feature of this would not work because not enough 24-28's to support the battle mode.

well basicaly anyone 3 or more lvls under u.
i would fight lvl 32-33 if they were non varium.

@Voidance: Ok then, how about this?

The fact that your Build is doing so well shows that Support can easily be abused. I strongly believed that Support should be Nerfed, particularly in a way that will prevent Mercs from abusing Field Medic, Artillery Strike, Field Commander, and Intimidate, all at the same time.

It's not gonna happen lol, because Mages and Bountys can rise their Def/Res and lower their enemy's Def/Res(I'm aware they can only do one or the other, but thats not the point) while Merc's have to muscle their way through Def/Res. So good luck with that plan.

exactly people say 31-38 is OP
but but 20-24 +10-15 more while they smoke isn't. and they raise their block when they smoke
in return we have 31-38 but we lack the hp, dex, and blocking, and hp regen

@Voidance: Oh really? Because "muscle" seems to be much more effective at the moment. Why else would there be more Support Mercs than Support Tech Mages or Support Bounty Hunters?

dude forget alot of people dont really know how to make builds.
and i do see alot of support tech mages and support BH. as a matter of fact, i was talking with one of my friends today Rogue Ninja
he had a support Bh build, and its pretty.

Your right, muscle IS more powerful, and it's called bh, sure a hybrid armor comes in handy, but ultimately smoke hit you at dex, which mean deacresed chance to block, lower def, and also it increases their chance to block because you become clumsier, I could also go into the fact that bh's are also the only class with a COMPLETELY unblockable mp steal, which even at it's lowest level blows mages lvl 10 mp steal out of the water completely, quite frankly everyones stigma on mercs is getting to be annoying, this update has been the best one yet for balanceing the game, and by the way you prattle on and hold onto your anti-merc stigma, it's obvious that ur just some whiner who only sticks it out in 2v2, if you went to 1v1, I'd put money on bettiing you'd be hating on bh's, an quite frankly, I have a pretty sweet build as a merc, but guess what, and BOUNTY HUNTERS PAY ATTENTION, MY PERSONAL BUILD IS VERY SUSCEPTIBLE TO 5 FOCUS BUILDS, see there, I just blutered out my weakness, and i don't really care, if it becomes to much of a problem I'll conglomerate other builds to form one of my likeing to better against it, my advice if you just have to stay in 2v2, go for a high tech, dex, and str build, forget things that help support, and focus on skills that are enhanced by dex and tech, and if you want to try 1v1, then do the same thing, support is going to be the down fall of many mercs who really sole upon it

@Above: I have a Bounty Hunter; I know that they're far from overpowered, compared to Strength Mercs or 5 Focus Tech Mercs.

^EXACTLY, TECH mercs, if ur doing 1v1 and you have problems with tech mercs, then you obviously need to try some differet kind of build because, even before the latest update if I went into 1v1 and came across a bh, he would tear me apart, first he'd moke, i'de debuff, and he'd still swing in strong, and thanks to the newest update, 5-focus mercs are now much less of a threat because focus no longer boosts your attacks for yourself, only for your summon robots

and it was because of bh's that i gave up str mercing, they'd smoke me, and even when i debuffed, i couldn't hit them, their dex was too good, and mine was too low as it was, so both problems are solved, and quite frankly, the str merc problem was solved before this update, even non var mages could beat them, you'd be surprised how few times anyone gets stuned, and how much more str mercs get stuned(have lowest support in game, only enough for wep requirements) so even lvl one thunder strike from a mage put me out for a turn (not to mention all the damage it did because of absurdly low res which bh's with energy writsblades took care of, those bhs didnt even hae to smoke me, they got all their health but like 5 from attacking me becuase of such high dmage
