first of all im not complaining.


Im wondering when will they will get back to mages

1st was heal loop.then mages got nerf so they went to support built.They got nerf too

Then.....

Mercs went to five focus.They are still alive to some extent.Then go Support Killed out most of the mages that why most mages left this game.

Then....

Frostbite came out along with the other weps.And then str bh Dominated delta v.They got nerf :/

Then....

Cyber shillelagh came out therefore str mercs dominated delta v to some extent

Then....

Enhancements came out for guns and bazookas.Therefore Str bh dominatING <------> delta v Right now


WE MAGES ARE WAITING FOR OUR TURN :) TO COME

tech mages have no good guns that fit tech mages with high enhancements slots.
all the lvl 33 guns (which have 7-8 enhancements slots) all have str modifiers.

It was Str Hunters, Heal Looper Mages, Support Mercs, Str Hunters/Str Mercs/Tank Merc/Support Merc, Str Mercs, Support Mercs. Notice how Mercs are almost the most powerful, yet they complain about being UP the most?

hey nobody said they are overpowered.
like i said MANY times before, we dont have the luxury of lowering ur defense or resistance.
so we either out damage u, or out tank u. its the only way.
go ahead and try to make a build like a support mage except without the malf, or a str Bh but without the smoke. it will fail.

many people see way OP, u guys have ways of lowering enemy def/res, use it to ur advantage.
ohh BTW u said support mercs 3 times, str mercs twice and tank mercs once

With Hybrid, Mercs can stat abuse so easily. Mercs can abuse 3 stats. BHs can abuse 2, Mages can abuse one.

Also, how did that lost post get posted twice? ._. I only posted it once.

Why are there never any intimidate merc builds Im just wondering its weird because malf mages and smoke bounts are popular

i too am have been all of those builds.
right now i have str BH.
i got 140 wins in 3 hours
3 rounds of npc, and u know what my % was? 98.5%
because hybrid makes up for that smoke and malf that we dont have.
like i said, we dont have malf or smoke. so we have to out tank or out damage u.
in this case tanking would be 5 focus, bunker build, and out damage would be str merc and support merc.

@mista
because intimidate works, but not with support BH or TM.
and when they can lower ur res/def more than u can take its attack.
example u take away 5 attack damage, they take away 10 defense
they are still dealing 5 more damage.

I notice Mages are making a certain comeback tho...
It involves even more Support then before xD

It's now like about 35 on each stat, 60 +50 Support, lvl 4 Malf and lvl 8 DA

^Actually its 32 Str, either 34 or 31 Dex ( depending if you use Azrael's Bane or Rixty Ripper ), 33 tech and massive support. Its a great build, mind.

I only see the str BH in 1v1 tho. support mercs and tech mercs are beasts in both battle modes.

your right that the only reliable builds for mages and bhs use smoke/malf but then how else are you going to do any
damage when mercs have 35-40+ defence and 29-40+ resistance combined with blood shield and being able to switch
hybrid armour. then they have massive damage with bunker buster, artillery strike, aux, gamma bot etc. mercs have
3 viable builds at least, while bhs have 2 at best and mages have what...1 ? im just happy that mages are now able to
win alot more even if that means Im losing to them as a bounty hunter [and no I never abuse str, im 5fc with assault bot]

u know that u have a cheapshot right?
and it costs WAY less energy than bunker buster.
and the reason why tech mercs work in 2 vs 2 is again tanks.
if ur fighting a mage he will malf u, a BH will smoke.

and about hybrid
if u use smoke or malf u basically bring his his def/res down to ur lvl.
now imagine malf or smoke against someone without hybrid.

Cheapshot's ignore 10% becomes nigh redundant if you have just smoked a player with moderate defences, and it can be blocked.
And where does that leave a mage? They have no such move.

Precisely why Hybrid is OPed is the defence area.

and we cant bring ur def/res down, so we have to up our offense
and cheapshot can ignore upto 34%
dont say 10% because it can go up and ignore way more than any merc skill for a very cheap energy price.

but merc Can nerf STR meaning Debuffing our Gun and Primary weapon...

Indeed Cheapshot = 34% ignore max but then again Mercs do have a lot of % based attacks
more than Bh's and TM's
so Mercs aren't that affected by the skill set reballance

I've been all classes, and tried alot of builds
so far the best one is str bh as of now.
today i did 140 wins in 3 hours and only 3 rounds of npcs and got 98.5%
doesn't that say something to u?
theres no way i could have done that many wins with that % with any other class.
yesterday a str Bh did 94% with like 320 wins.
again if that dont say something then idk what does.

Mercs have Bunker, Surgical Strike, Artillery and Maul which all have defense ignore %s. They have 2 %-based skills Bezerker and Atom Smasher ( Still counts since it converts a % of strength and takes away energy ) and Bunker has a crit chance.

BHs and Mages have one defense ignoring skill each and Mages have no crit chance skill while Cheap Shot has a crti chance but its blockable. Tbh, maybe Hunters multi should ignore 25% resistance since they can't make it stronger other than wasting a turn using Reflex and Mage's Multi should ignore 20% since it is a lot weaker than Artillery and it can be weakened? And let's face it, if Mercs say its unfair, they should just take into account that they are the least used skills in the entire game. Also Plasma Bolt should have a Crit chance and have a maybe 15% resistance ignore so its like an Energy Bunker Buster but the added effects aren't as great since it can be powered up throguh buffs or debuffs?

But I was talking towards Mages more than BH's? :P
I know BH's are Opd, Evolve or Die came into action so I Reclassed to BH

Devs should give mages advantage or make a skill stronger like assimilation. Im not easily dfeat nor I win easily but most of the time I win. Bh for me are the most easy because mercs got their crit chance but bh only strenght. Mages has always been top players and they will always be.

Perhaps a good lvl 33 Pistol with +33 damage would be nice :) With some Mage ideal stats :D

5 Enhancements
+ 7 Dex
+ 6 Tech
+ 6 Support

(Please note the lvl *31* Plasma ACP has 18 stats total)

+31 damage
4 Enhancements
2 Dex
10 Tech
6 Support

it isn't really that much different just a bit better for mages :D

they need to make a physical pistol lvl 31+ that gives no str....

^ level 32 or 33 Nonvarium guns come first:V
On TOpic: Mages are the dominant class but u just need a variety of both physical and energy attack because the armors protect one side so high now.

mages=no good weps + heal loop nerf all quit cept a few loyal ones e.g me
mercs=oped so much i cant count
bhs=str builds the most oped of all imo
